Hi, me and my husband got married first. There wasnt a surprise proposal or anything. we talked about it and decided to get married. so I picked out my wedding band from a israel jeweler on ebay. a month later, my husband said I deserve a e ring as well. so he took me to a jour jewelry to custom made whatever ring I want. We told the jeweler about the budget, he helped me pick out the sapphires I want, which are some natural vivid, eye cleanse ceylon sapphires. the color is awesome. We made the ring three stone style with a eternity band. Here’s the picture 🙂

Rock your nontraditional ring! Mine isn’t TOO non-traditional since it’s a diamond. But it being a yellow diamond at first threw some people off and asked if it was a yellow sapphire. I don’t mind people getting confused and for the most part, yellow diamonds are being better “received” ever since Tiffany’s reveal with their yellow diamond collection. My Fiance was a little hesitant at first but he said he liked how it stood out and it really does feel like royalty.

@MrsHoneyC:  Your set is my FAV on the bee. 🙂

My Fiance picked out my ring himself and he ended up picking a channel set diamond wedding band. He really wanted something that I would be comfortable wearing for the rest of our lives.

The reactions are very different I’ve noticed. He only hears ‘What a great job!’ I get ‘Wow, that is a very weird ring, do you not like real engagements rings?’ or ‘Does he not have any women in his life who told him that is a very bad idea?’. My personal favourite is ‘You know he doesn’t love you and doesn’t actually want to marry you. He’s just pretending’. She got called a hateful witch (but with a b). Most people have no idea how to take it. The most common reaction is dead silence followed by ‘Oh, that’s unique’. So I tend not to show it anymore cause the comments really upset me.

@MrsHoneyC:  Hello!  I’ve been lurking for just about a year now and have to say your set is my absolute favorite. Just simply stunning!
