My wedding is in three months now and I’m still undecided about the music to play during the ceremony.
My Fiance has chosen “This Kind of Love” by Sister Hazel to play while he and the groomsmen take their positions. http://www.absolutelyrics.com/lyrics/view/sister_hazel/this_kind_of_love/
Once we are announced Husband & Wife, we will walk back up the isle to “Smile” by Unkle Cracker http://www.unclekracker.com/video/smile/
His song is so incredibly moving and I’d like to find the same from me to him. Any suggestions? I also need some fun upbeat but not crazy song suggestions for my bridal party to walk down the isle to…HELP please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm is there a type of music you’re looking for? More alternative-rock like the other two songs? Here are three that I thought of… are these somewhere in the ballpark of what you’re looking for?
Jack Johnson – Angel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9wu-lAQBHw
Bright Eyes – First Day of My Life http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8PAHk2HrcE
Ben Harper – Forever http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o96r6qr9CEw&feature=related

I saw in a magazine some recommendations. Here are some choices, based on your music style:
There She Goes, by The La’s (Indie)
She’s a Rainbow, by the Rolling Stones (classic rock)
Saving All my Love for you, by Whitney Houston (r&b)
Forever and Ever, Amen, by Randy Travis (country)
I heard Danny Goky’s new song “The Best Days” and I though it would be great for your exit, bu you already have one.
Another song I heard on Pandora is Love by Matt White, which I thought was really nice. Listen to your iPod, and listen to the words of the songs – THE song is probably there!

We are using an instrumental version of “No One” by Alicia Keys for the bridal party – I love it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMIBpi58sxk

My best friend had the bridesmaids walk to There She Goes Again and it still gives me chills when I hear it. I made some pretty unattractive faces trying to keep from crying when she walked down the aisle. I’m walking down the aisle to Joy by Apollo 100 and Fiance and his Groomsmen are taking their places to a hip hop Pachelbel’s Canon. I’m going to have my ladies walk to Everything by Michael Buble.

I had MY song picked out (You Got me bu Tristan Prettyman) OMG, I love it. But when he gave me his song, I felt my song was just too upbeat. But, I like upbeat, we are funny, crazy people so upbeat is good. His song makes my heart melt though so I want to do something special back to him.
I running in circles between super romantic and crazy antics. I was going to have my bridal party walk down the the Brani Carlise remake of all you need is love and then when the got to the guests, they would pull out wireless mikes and have the guests chime in on the chorus. But again, after his song, this really won’t work.
What do you all think?

I’m a Believer by SmashMouth for our Grand Entrance 🙂

- Wedding: May 2011 - Bartram's Garden
Two of the boy’s favorite instrumental bands are Tristeza and The Album Leaf, so I think we’ll have songs from those bands during our ceremony.
Tristeza – Aereoaviones
Tristeza – Stumble on Air
The Album Leaf – The Outer Banks
The Album Leaf – Streamside

If you really want a non-traditional song and make your wedding dance more memorable you should make your own song. A custom song that tells your love story w/ words that resonates with music and romance. Check this site http://www.ourperfectsong.com/ you’d be surprise that there are some people already who are adopting to this kind of idea for their wedding.
