@redheadem:  I’m going to be in my hometown for a couple of weeks before the wedding.. so depending on when I decide ot head up will determine how long it has been. But I completely understand what you’re getting at! It’s ALWAYS so much better if it’s been a while! It’s like the tension has been building up FOR AGES! πŸ˜€

I always think it’s a cute thing to do and I know a lot of couples do this.  I also know a lot of couples don’t have sex on their wedding day.   I think 4 weeks will definitely build up the anticipation, but don’t be disappointed if you are both to tired.

About three months. But there were other factors involved.

About 2 months. It was a long time, and we came close to cheating a few times (not on eachother, I mean cheating and doing it!!!!) but we held out. Marriage night sex was incredible.

1 year. Once we bought my wedding dress I was scared to get pregnant because that dress was very fitted and we spent a very long time paying it off.

though we were tired and had to drive to port the next morning to get on the cruise ship we still had did it on our wedding night.

im wondering about this too, itll be extra hard as we’re having a destination wedding, so we’ll be in holiday mode!

im thinking more like 2 or 3 weeks though, itd be enough for anticipation to build up without me getting cranky πŸ˜›

@redheadem:  We didn’t stop before the wedding, but I will say that the sex was so much more exciting when we got married… it was like we were finally free to do ti without a single worry about anyone judging us or about breaking any rules and if there was an accident of the baby-making type, hey, at least we’re married. We had a ton of amazing sex on the honeymoon, way more than normal.

About 5 months! Thats if we can resist the urge for the coming weeks until we get married. Fiance and I discussed this and decided that we would stop having sex 5 months before the wedding. We live together and still kiss and cuddle and its made our sexual relationship (which was already great) so much better. I cant wait until our weddingnight πŸ™‚

I don’t remember how long we waited … but we didn’t do it on our wedding night. We did it the day before … whoops! πŸ˜› It had been a long day okay, I was up from 5am that day and was just bushed at the end of it with all the emotions.

Haha well……..1 month was OUR plan, but we had no resistance. πŸ˜›  It ended up being more like…4 days out of stress from wedding planning. πŸ˜€  But you should do it!
