I was looking at engagement rings on etsy and came across this one! I love love love the style of it, and I know it shouldn’t matter what others think but I cant shake the idea of people looking at it and not realizing it’s an engagement ring. Thoughts and opinions? Also, if you have seen any others around in this style please let me know or add photos or links!
Thanks!

It looks like a Heidi Gibson design. Search her name and you’ll find threads!

I think anymore that there are so many non-traditional e-rings that it doesnt even make people think. It’s all about what finger it is setting on! If you love it? Go for it!

There are a number of bee’s here with similarly styled rings by Heidi Gibson.

Go for it if you love it! I have a non-traditional ring and I love the idea of the symbol of enagement/marriage representing a couple’s personality.

It’s a Heidi Gibson, or a knock off. I have one. I love my ring, I don’t care that it doesn’t look like a traditional engagement ring. I get compliments all the time and it’s unique and I’m glad my FH took my like and dislikes into consideration when he designed my ring.

bethanyjames : it’s a gorgeous ring, but i wouldn’t immediately think “engagement ring” if i saw you wearing it. another thing to think about is if you plan to add a wedding band – it’s kinda a difficult ring to add another one too. but i totally think you should get it and rock it as a RHR!

To me, if it’s on your left ring finger, it’s an engagement ring. If you love it, get it!

As other people said, if it’s on your left ring finger it’s an e ring to me! And wow, that one’s so beautiful!

bethanyjames : I looooove Heidi Gibson rings (and lookalikes) so I would say 100% go for it. I wouldn’t even really consider them to be “non traditional” per se, more like a fancy halo. And they are getting pretty popular now as e-rings anyways. I got a lot of comments on my sapphire e-ring (i.e. “is that your engagement ring?”) when we first got engaged, but they didn’t bother me at all. When you pair it with a wedding band it will be even more obvious that its your engagement ring.

It’s pretty!! My only worry would be that it might snag on things, but I’m not sure as I don’t have a ring like this.
