I’d be livid….but there isn’t much you can do except send it back.  I would definitely be talking to a manager and requesting a quick turnaround with expedited shipping.

I hope they give you some sort of freebie or at the very least, a well worded apology! For the record, it’s a gorgeous ring!

@MissNoodles: What center stone is that? Sorry you’re frustrated, but it’s really pretty!!!

That is seriously unacceptable. They better give you a discount on the wedding bands, if you were planning on still going with them after all this. Or some free earrings if you weren’t. Something! I’d be mad over the Willy Wonka ring, too. Hilarious phrase though!

I do see that, and they better fix that quickly!

Your ring is still sooooo beautiful even with an off kiltered center stone 🙂

I don’t know if this question is allowed but can you just turn it in for a refund and start over with another jeweler? I wouldn’t have so much confidence in them at this point.

I am so sorry that yet again it isn’t right!

Oh my gosh, I posted on your previous thread about how my wedding band was off being worked on and would be gone for a few days, so I felt your pain in being without your ring……………………….well, I just went to the jewelers to pick up my ring yesterday and they crushed a diamond in my wedding band!!!!!  It was custom designed by my Fiance using diamonds from an anniversary band he had given me when we were dating…..they ruined one of my precious diamonds.  The diamonds are pretty big too, 11 diamonds totaling 1 ct.  I am devestated.  I am also getting married in 9 days.  Due to the nature of the band (a channel set), it is extremely hard to replace a damaged stone, and often times the end product is less than perfect looking.  I’m in a state of shock.  My ring was shipped off to a “specialist” and I will get my ring just in time for my wedding, but the idea of using a band that is all wrong on the day of my wedding just kills me……  Sorry to thread hijack, but I just had to share with you my story….it’s so ironic and unfortunate that both of our rings came back defective 🙁
