Hello! I am recently engaged and looking for the perfect woodsy venue. I would love a venue nestled in the redwoods! We are both students, so looking for something fairly cheap. Unfortunately, we want to get married where we live, in Sonoma County, but it is so expensive since it is common for destination weddings. So, if you know of any hidden gems or of a venue within an hour or two with redwoods, please let me know!

Meir woods? I believe it is just the cost to have all your guests enter the park, downside they don’t have a place for a reception

Hi there! I’m in Rohnert Park. 🙂
I found the following websites under the wedding venues heading via http://www.sonomacounty.com/weddings which offers complimentary wedding assistance, so you might want to ask them directly. In the meantime here’s a couple places to view:
Found this link to redwood places in Humboldt County if for some reason that might work for you (may be worth the drive to pay less):

Amphitheatre of the Redwoods
Mountain Terrace at Woodside
Botanical Garden at UC Berkeley
Henry Miller Library if you want to drive to Big Sur
The Santa Cruz area has some too, but not sure if that is too far away for you.
