Right now I have two.  One was $17.  The other was $24.  Lmao.  Some people might think I’m crazy for being okay with this.  But I told my fiance absolutely not to buy me a diamond (really I was thinking more along the lines of moissanite, but he went CZ, which is fine.) and he didn’t.

I was engaged before and my engagement ring cost around $4,500, but now it’s essentially worthless, so I just felt like there was no point in spending a bunch of money.

I actually love not having an expensive ring.  Lost or stolen?  No big deal (aside from sentimental reasoning).  Lose the stones?  No big deal.  Starts fading, scratches, etc?  By a new one.

We’ve agreed we’ll both have multiple rings that we can change up whenever we feel like it.  It makes for easy gift ideas too, haha.

However, I L-O-V-E this most recent one he picked out and wouldn’t be against having a replica made in sturdier materials.

I absolutely LOVE my ring, but if Fiance had to do it all over again, I’d hope that he would be more economical.

My ring cost $18,000~, and now we have an extended engagement to save for a wedding!

Found mine in February and there was a sale – ended up being $600 flat for e-ring, but did lay-away type plan anyways (my gut says to throw me off of when it’ll actually be in BF’s possession ;)… last payment in August… (if he hasn’t padi in full already) and I CAN NOT WAIT to wear it!!!! It’s a beautiful yellow gold, round solitare ๐Ÿ™‚ I believe 1/2 carat… simple, classic and WAY affordable!

Around $550 all said and done, and it’s everything I wanted and then some! It’s so hard to get good pics of it, but the sparkle is just unreal sometimes (amethyst and white sapphires). I’ll totally share pics! ๐Ÿ™‚

Mine was $7500 ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s absolutely beautiful! 1.01 carat in 14k white gold, four-prong setting, and high-grade clarity (I can’t remember but I think it is VS2?) gives it gorgeous effects when it’s in the sunlight! Per my desire, my fiance focused more on a perfect cut and good clarity rather than carat size. I absolutely love my ring!

But because it’s expensive, it’s an expensive rider on my insurance!

Mibe was $670 which felt like a lot to spend for me but it’s not nearly as much as some people spend.
