I haven’t even heard of it until recently on facebook.

My guy shaved last night, so luckily he hasn’t boarded the train!

My Darling Husband always has a mustache, so I’m good with it 🙂

SO has had a beard the last five years. He’s shaved it this month for Movember.

So I’m loving it 🙂

ETA: Though in all honesty? I do miss the beard. But it’s for a good cause, so why hate? Plus, this means he can’t say anything if I want to chop my hair for Shave For A Cure.

@missjess12: It depends on the guy. With my SO, I’d rather him have scruff than not have scruff.

My husband has a huge beard and I love it! But I know lots of women hate it.

My Darling Husband was successfully treated for Prostate Cancer, so I would encourage you to look at the bigger picture. Movember is a big fund raiser .

The moustache will soften up after a few days.

@julies1949:  I know it supports “awareness” for prostate cancer. But not a single guy I know who does Movember is actually raising money for anything. Maybe celebrities are.

And that’s what upsets me and why I don’t really love Movember. If each person donated $10 to cancer research AND grew a mustache, then that would even be a lot better.

I definitely don’t plan on alerting Darling Husband to Movember, for sure.

He has participated in no-shave-November almost as long as we’ve been together, and while I’m not a fan of it, I will admit it’s better than just a moustche- I can’t stand them. I just can’t do it.

I like Darling Husband with just a bit of scruff, like maybe 1-2 days’ worth of growth on his face. But not full-on moustache/beard.

Maybe we’ll donate to a cancer charity instead.

@highschoolhoneys:  Last year Vancouver men raised will over a million dollars, over 5 million from BC and over 38 million in Canada.

Maybe you and your Man could start something where you live.

Even if it just increases awareness, it may end up saving the life of someone close to you.

@highschoolhoneys:  Really?  I know many guys who do.

I don’t like facial hair either, and luckily for me Darling Husband doesn’t participate.  He wouldn’t be allowed to with his job, it’s a safety issue.
