My fiance and I are really low on cash for “extras”. Aka eating out, new clothes, going to movies, etc. I need work clothes more than anything else. I wanted to buy some cute things for our E-Pics in three weeks but won’t have much extra cash. Anyone got any ideas on where to look for something pretty/flirty/cute/cheap?
I’d just wear things I have already, but most of it is faded and worn…lol I haven’t really had new clothes in three or four years.

http://www.modcloth.com has a lot of cute but inexpensive dresses. I’ve gotten things there before with a lot of success!

Do you have TJ Maxx, Marshalls or Ross? You can find really nice things there for not a lot of money. I’ve also heard good things about Target’s clothing, I’ve never looked there myself though.

Oh yes! I love Target. That’s a great idea – they have lots of cute trndy clothes!

Forever 21 – – – That store saves me all the time – – If not there do you have an H&M near ya?

I went to TJs and Ross yesterday but struck out because I really only fit in juniors or extra small sizes and their selection is sorta small. I forgot about Target though. Thanks for the reminder!
Also, thanks for the modcloth.com link. A little pricey for me but I dig the stuff they have!

Try consignment shopping- you can find all sorts of brands and all sorts of sizes and it’s way less expensive!

Thrift stores are a good place to look…Goodwill usually has a lot of clothes. I also agree with the suggestions of Forever 21 and H&M.

I have found brand new clothes with tags still on at consignment stores. Earlier this summer I hit the jackpot — I got a bunch of brand new (with tags) Ann Taylor Loft & Banana Republic skirts, capris, and tops, all for about $5 each!! I find the best items at consignment shops in the more wealthy towns.

Do you have a Kohl’s? They have a ton of good sales. I fit into junior clothes too, & that’s the section I always shop in.
Also, try consignment shops! They’re in like new condition, some clothes have takes still on them! I got designer jeans ($200 new) for like $25. Can’t even tell they were used. Shirts can be $5. If they have any blemishes, most consignment stores won’t take them

I’m a big thrift store fan. You may have to do some digging and/or go back a few times, depending on how good the thrift store is, but I’m sure you could find something fun and cute for way cheap 🙂

I got my outfits at Macy’s (spent 19.99 on a dress) and Target (12.99 on a top). My fiance got a tie (7.99) from Forever 21, and a shirt (14.99) from h&m. Our shoot is this weekend…I’ll post pics when I get them 🙂

Goodwill. You’d be AMAZED what you can get there! Wedding gowns, brand new leather skirts/pants, jeans, dresses, etc. prices are great, too.
and just about every city has one…. just a thought 😉
