@Rivendeler:

I take melatonin to help me sleep. It helps me get a full nights rest uninterupted and it’s safe. My sister is a nutritionist and suggested it saying that she’s heard good things about it when I was having weeks of trouble sleeping because of stress and work.

I am struggling to sleep myself. I can fall asleep, but have nightmares and spend half the night tossing and turning. I may try the melatonin, need to start sleeping before I become even more of a cranky mess.

I only know of it as a hormone that helps regulate a sleep schedule.

Melanin = skin pigment

Melatonin = sleep hormone…I think. lol

Anywho, I haven’t been sleeping, but it’s not because of the wedding, it’s because I have an 8 month old who has gotten 4 teeth in 3 weeks! Yikes! lol

I’ve learned to shut off my brain and take any opportunity to sleep that I can get. I just imagine a floating feather in my mind (sometimes I get sidetracked and start thinking about the wedding for a moment, then I have to start thinking about the feather again).

It’s really the only way I can sleep!

  I have been setting a sleep timer on my TV while I fall asleep. My brain has been focusing on the sounds from that, rather than racing through with a million thoughts of what needs to happen during these next 19 days. I have also been trying to exercise throughout the day, or do things so when I go to sleep, I will feel worn out.

  I am definitely ready for the planning to end and to start our marriage!! It’s winding down, girls!

When I was nervous and excited before the wedding, I didn’t sleep well at night either. On weekends and after work I’d take short naps and let myself rest that way. The night before my wedding, we all had a few drinks and went out for manicures and pedicures to relax.

I’m sleeping, but I’m dreaming about the wedding!  Last night it was my wedding day and I was completely alone.  For some reason I couldn’t take care of myself and missed my hair and make-up and forgot to get my bridesmaids gifts done.

19 more days of this?  YIKES!

@Mars62312: Ditto on dreaming about the wedding! My personal favorite has been Fiance and I show up at the wrong church, yet we still get married. When we leave, we hadn’t booked a DJ or a photographer, but we still are having our reception. People are looking around, trying to figure out where to sit, and I have a dramatic moment where I lean against the wall, put my arm to my head, and say, “This isn’t what I planned!”.

We cam make it!

@keepsmiling19:

Well, we’ll still get married, I’ll just be really ugly with pissed off bridesmaids and you won’t have any music!
