Dude, I think it’s gorgeous, like everyone on here. But it’s your ring! YOU have to love it because YOU have to live with it. It really is beautiful though! I feel like it fits your hand perfectly!

@orangeuexcited:  KEEP IT! It’s so stunning! I have a VERY similar ER but cushion cut (same setting) and I just adore it, I think yours is beautiful!

It sounds like you have options to change the ring in the future, so your situation isn’t so bad. Just do your best to enjoy it now (and enjoy the thought behind it most of all! Even if it was really ugly, which yours isn’t, I bet you could learn to love it because of what it symbolises.) Then you can use the time to decide on your PERFECT setting. Good luck!!

@orangeuexcited:  it’s beautiful and looks amazing on your hand! Totally my dream ring! My ring feels thick to me on the side view too bc I have tiny fingers (sz4) but it’s honestly not and looks beautiful it just feels that way. I think you’ll get used to it and love your ring.

Yeah, I see what you mean. That’s why I didnt pick halo although I like the look from top, but side view is not my thing. I like to see the side of my diamond. If you are not happy, you can always reset it. Its a beautiful stone btw

@orangeuexcited: We have the same finger size! My bf asked me to pick what I want, so I looked around online and showed him the diamond that I really love, then also showed him the ring design that I love (I attached a photo of the design that I like)! so hopefully he will be proposing sometime soon *yikes!. Anyway, just like you, I really don’t want anything big, so I picked a 0.71ct stone, but your ring looks really really nice and doesn’t look gaudy at all!

@orangeuexcited:  the side view couldn’t be any shorter unless u felt the stone touch ur finger and it press the culet into ur skin. It’s not the cathedral it’s the halo and the depth…this is the lowest halo setting I have ever seen for a 1.50ct, the only way to get a shorter mounting is to set a plain head with tiny mellee shank. If u want to change the setting later that’s not very expensive. But honestly I side with other bees the size will seem more and more small over time.

I have a feeling that you will fall deeply in love with it. I was so-so about my ring and now I LOVE it! It’s so weird to finally have it on your finger. πŸ™‚
