CarolinaJames :  they don’t technically allow exchanges but I was so devastated with the decision I had made that they allowed me to. I started with the Ethel and ended up with the bride wars because my sisters thought I looked like a real bride…i liked it but wasn’t in love with it. I posted it on WB and not too many thought it was a good choice. I flipped flopped back and forth and ended up getting another dress. Now when I look at photos of other brides in it, I literally feel a pain in my stomach. It was so beautiful, so bridal! Ugh. Clearly venting

This dress is gorgeous. Feels very couture. Not like every other dress out there. You’ll rock it on your wedding day!!

I think it’s much better to go with a classic dress rather than the more outlandish current fashions. My bridal salon adviced me to call them if I started to experience dress regret and they would book an appointment for me to come in just to put the dress back on. If you’re starting to worry then maybe try that out. It sounds like you felt great when you had it on and maybe you just need to recapture that feeling again.

Your dress is beautiful!! I def also had dress regret. I had to stop looking and stop thinking about (SO hard). Glad I did though. I had so many compliments and have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. Don’t second guess those first feelings you had!!

ah….Gemma is one of the best dresses of all time!  If I could have afforded it, I would have considered it.  I loved it since Hillary Duff had her custom version of it.  It’s classic.  It’s timeless.  It’s romantic.  Keep it.

Just because you work in fashion doesn’t mean you have to choose something completely unique and forward.  Do what YOU love.  Gwen Stefani had a fashion forward gown…with Pink at the bottom. I hated it.  Jessica Biel married JT in a dress, I thought was horrible.  Carrie Bradshaw’s dress was couture…and just wayyy too out there for me.  You don’t want to look back on your photos and think “WTF was I thinking with that?”  You want classic.

More Duchess Kate Middleton…Less Whitney Houston.

‘safe’ and ‘old’ !!???  Really  , my dear OP you are crazy to think so!  It is  shape-revealing and embellished . Please don’t change it for  a Pnina Tornai of all things!

ETA I agree with a pp who said  lose the belt , it doesn’t enhnace that lovely  dress at all In My Humble Opinion

to be honest I find most bridal dress beautiful but boring… ive seen so many over the years that they all look the same now so im having something different however I know a lot of brides would think my dress is ‘tacky’ or ‘non bridal’ – people ideas are completely different, some like safe or traditional, some like sexy or blingy, some like trendy or fashionable etc… and only you can decide where you comfortably sit, your co-workers dresses may be beautiful but if its not your vision or comfort then just admire the beauty then go home to YOUR perfect dress
