Hmm, I’ve never heard of the parents walking down the aile.  Just the bridal party, flower girl and ring bearer.  In all the weddings I’ve ever been to, the parents are all sitting in the front row (with the exception of the dad or mum who’s walking the bride).  Really, at the end of the day, there’s no “right” way, so do what you feel goes with the flow of your wedding.  But a good way to avoid parent favoritism, is to just have them all sitting at the front excpet for who ever walks you.

Usually the grandparents and parents are seated by ushers a few minutes before thw whole thing is supposed to start (bridal party entrance).

If you are not having ushers, I see no problem in the way you have it now. But it is usually around 5 minutes before the processional starts.
