@Serey:  It’s only been a few weeks…they have an entire year, I think.

They have two months to send out their thank you’s, and if they are going to do photo thank you’s it will take longer as they will have to wait for thier photos from the photographer

You said it’s only been a few weeks…give her more time befroe you flip out. I don’t even think about getting a Thank You card in the mail until it actually arrives, and I’m like, Oh yeah, I forgot!

I have NEVER gotten one, single thank you card from ANY of the weddings I’ve attended in the past 3 years. It won’t stop me from giving gifts, but yea, my momma didn’t raise me that way.

I’d give it a bit more time.  We wanted to do a personalized card with one of our wedding photos and include the pictures people took in the photobooth in their cards, which took a little longer than we’d hoped.  I’d say if it’s not there by three months, it’s probably not coming.

Definitely over-reacting. Give it some more time. Not everyone is as on top of it as you might be. I’m still sending mine, and as far as I’m concerned, if people are pissed off that they aren’t sent yet – too bad! They’re on their way, on MY schedule. Not theirs. It was, after all, my wedding. 😛

Wow, 7 weeks and you’re upset already? Technically they have a year to send them out.

I would NEVER wait a year, I think that is so rude. Sorry just my opinion, and I know brides do this, but I think its horrible. 2 months MAX

did she thank you when you told her you’d be giving her this gift?

I’d give it 3-4 months before I get pissed.

The Emily Post website says you have THREE MONTHS to send out a thank you note after a wedding.

And yes, OP, I would be pissed too.  Did I read that right?  You PAID for their FIJI honeymoon?  Not only should you be expecting a proper thank you note, but they really couldn’t take 5 minutes to pop a postcard in the mail?

Wow. Just wow.
