Well, I know I couldn’t afford that if it was purely cosmetic. Do e-pics with your photographer and then see how you feel about how you look.

Ha I totally know where you’re coming from! I have five wisdom teeth, so my top row of teeth is super crowded. One of my incisors actually COVERS my second tooth on the top row (not sure what that one is called). It even makes my lip kind of look different on that side, but I dont think its noticeable to anyone really but me. I’m always HUGELY self conscious about it. To the point where I was not smiling AT ALL in a good amount of my e-pics:(

I think if you have money for it you should go for regular braces. I was told if I got them they could take them off before my wedding and put them back on later. A lot of people say that it’s dumb to spend money on something like that because its superficial or cosmetic, but people spend tons of money on boob jobs, losing weight, clothes that make them feel pretty, hair treatments, etc. At least spending money on your teeth is actually something that could benefit you later on. In my case it would probably lower my chances of gum disease because its hard to clean the one tooth thats behind the other.

I’m a dental assistant, and I’m having some issues my self!

I feel on my front tooth when I was younger and it had to be root canaled, and it ended up turnin a yellow colour (normal). I had it bleached internally and its the same color as the rest of my teeth but the problem is, I’ve never whitened my teeth and would like to. My root canaled tooth wont take to be regular bleaching and even with internal bleacing would never be bleach white. So I will have an off white smile for the wedding.

I agree with toil234…. try and locate a dental school and see if they offer braces. They will give you an awesome deal!!

With Veneers you have to file your good teeth away, they dont always look like real teeth and they are not as strong as your real teeth. Depending on the tooth and if you have a strong or forceful bite veneers may not be a good idea..

BEST ADVICE: SPEAK WITH YOUR DENTIST, THEY WILL KNOW BEST!

if your teeth are a little yellow not saying they are

try whitening your teeth

1:1 ratio of baking soda and water

bush your teeth with it for 3 minutes rinse with cold water

brush, floss and mouth was as normal

do it every other day or weekly but not daily

it wont straighten your teeth but

it will make your smile bright so you might not notice the “problem”

i have a bit of a snaggle tooth :/ and whitening helps for photos
