Okay so there were so many things going on when I purchased my wedding dress. I’ve already accepted that it is what it is and that it it isnt that bad at all. The botique was not willing for me to change the dress even a month before it was scheduled to arrive. There was also a problem with the dress being short when it came in so I had to argue again for it to order another one with the right lenght, so it’s going to take another 3 months again. It was a stressful time but I am now moving on. LOL
But it seems to me that because of all that, I am getting my reception dress custom-made because of my dissapointment with the wedding dress I purchased at the botique.
Is it so bad that I am not even interested with my wedding dress and just cannot wait to change into my reception dress.

@worriedconfusedbride: awww I am sorry to hear your story of this 🙁 Yes I’d say it is bad that you are not looking forward to putting on your wedding dress, and would rather wear your reception gown. Is your reception dress able to be your wedding dress? I am glad you are getting the length fixed..if possible can you put a pic of your dress up?
Maybe on the day of you will feel beautiful especially since they are fixing the length..I hope you do

@worriedconfusedbride: I dont think there is anything wrong with your feelings. Can you just wear your reception dress and try to sell your original dress?

@worriedconfusedbride: I can relate. I had major dress regret with my first dress and ended up buying a second dress that I feel much prettier in. Now I have to sell my first dress to get my money back. Your feelings are common. Can you afford a second dress?

@DayDay: My Reception dress is going to be custom-made. I wished I thought about taking this route before purchasing the wedding gown. The reception dress doesn not even cost half of the wedding dress. I just feel like I should just wear this wedding gown because just because. It doesnt look that bad, but it’s not what I want.
No I cannot afford a second dress and the stress of looking around for it. The wedding dress shopping reminds me of the day that one of my bestfriends who was supposed to be my bridesmaids has chosen to walk out on her boyfriend so that she can give him an ultimatum to propose to her or she is gone for good and will take their son away.
I know it’s probabbly not even the dress. It might be because of what happened that day.
