Personaly i think you look AMAZING and thats without all the day-of bling you’ll be wearing not to mention your hair and make-up will be done. I think you are beautiful and your dress adds to your beauty. . . . .just my two cents

First off I want to say that you look absolutely gorgeous in the dress!
But, if you feel uncomfortable I would consider buying the spanx, the ones that slim the hips, and trying those. I think if you really want to wear a bra, you should. I had cups sewn into my strapless dress, and it’s so comfortable, and it looks great! I do think the bustier/bra you posted above would work. And yoou could probably send it back if you try it on with the dress and it doesn’t work!!! I would definately just try the spanx that slim the hips and I think you will be a lot more comfortable, not that you need to :)!

You look so lovely! And you’ll be such a gorgeous bride too..very pretty dress also!
I liken this situation to when I bought my last vehicle. I got a 2007 Rav4 Sport edition (new bodystyle). Last year I decided I hated it. I wanted a new one. Or at least the same thing in a different color.
And I’ve done the same thing with dresses too. it’s natural. This is an important day. You always second guess yourself b/c you’re human. I bet everybody on this entire board does too! But let US tell you the truth in what we see..you look fabulous! I don’t see any hip issue. And when your hair and makeup are done, heels on, proper undergarments, etc, you’ll be a bombshell!

omg it looks fab on you! I guess i’m just not sure what it is you aren’t loving about it! You could get a corset bustier type top to lift and support, but not squish if that’s an issue.
Definitely some spanx if you feel your hips need some smoothing out. They make some long body kinds that hug your rib cage, waist, and hip. I like it b/c no matter how skinny you are, it just smoothes everything out nicely. And, it gives you something to sweat on. I’d rather sweat onto my undergarments than my dress or just down my legs
A friend of mine got married recently and lifted up her to dress to prove to us how warm she was under her lacy ballgown…her legs were bright red and completely dripping in sweat. Needles to say, I am 100% convinced in need capri undergarments!

I think you look great in the dress. You will look beautiful on your wedding day! Try not to worry about it, as it’s really too late to do anything about it now.

I agree! Dress is beautiful, and it is beautiful on YOU 🙂
I initially looked at dresses with that style, but unfortunately, it never went well with my 4"11 figure =
Also, I think alot of dresses are made so that it’ll enhance curves. I went shopping and the lady said "these give you the hourglass figure, and that’s what you want :)"

Your dress fits you great! It is a beautiful dress! I also have curvy hips and a smaller bust, I bought a wonderbra from macys and it gave me that extra umph without squishing my skin so it didn’t overflow over my dress. You can return it too if it does not look good in your beautiful dress!

Thanks guys! I went and had my 3rd fitting today and I did NOT wear the waist slimmer thing and I really liked the dress much better (and I was waaaay more comfy!). Maybe it was just my mood that day or something, I don’t know, but I felt much happier about it today. I also just wore my regular strappless bra and it gave me a bit on top (it’s corset back and I think she just didn’t tie it as tight this time because I didn’t look too squished). I was also browsing through the catalogues a bit because there’s only one woman working there and she was a bit busy today (I didn’t mind, and I didn’t have an exact appointment time anyway) and I noticed that quite a few of the models’ hips "stuck out." I guess it really is just more of an hourglass thing and I’m not used to seeing my hips like that! I mean, I don’t wear baggy stuff or sweats all the time, but it’s generally jeans and maybe a flowy top or something. I’m looking forward to it now

I have the same problem, I ordered a replica of a designer dress and I hate it. I did try on the designer version and I loved how it looked on me but I had my heart broken the second I tried on the replica. Now I am out of my money and can’t really afford to buy another one.
You look good in the gown and I think with the right accessories, you will look beautiful on your wedding day. But I can tell you are not happy in those pics! Let us know what happens!
