I tried on about 40 dresses this weekend. I knew wedding dress shopping would be tough. I’m a little indecisive and am not my ideal weight right now. I finally picked what I thought was “the one”. My family and friends loved it. Now I’m starting to have second thoughts. I guess it’s just not quite what I pictured. I’m struggling because I feel like it looks like an evening gown instead of a wedding dress. I also wanted something a little softer, maybe lace or tule. I’m just not sure this is how I want to look for my wedding. I’m at a loss here. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It’s GORGEOUS! I wonder if your hesitance is from the slight lack of poof in the skirt? That’s solveable with a mermaid or fit and flare crinoline.

I think it definitely looks like a wedding dress, and it highlights your waist nicely. I like the ruching through the torso and hips, but the bottom part seems a bit choppy, to be honest. Could that just be the sample? Otherwise, it looks lovely on you.

@sarahbabs: Choppy is the word I’ve been looking for. I think it’s the dress. The bottom is one of the reasons I’m not sure about the dress. Do you think a crinoline would help? Or can it be altered somehow to make it a little softer on the bottom?

I htink it would make a big difference if your arms were in a better possition. It looks really nice it has a great shape and structure.
