instead of the adhesive can you try glue dots?  I wonder if the adhesive that you used wasn’t strong enough? they have those glue dot rollers and they prove a lot stronger than a regular two sided adhesive (we all know that glue dots are my saviour)

yeah, i did an invite a few months ago with a glue dot for the monogram tag and fabric ribbon enclosure and it was perfect and still took a heck of a time getting off.

Hey! I went to art school and Ive used lots and lots and lots and lots AND LOTS of adhesives! I had one class where we built sculptures out of bristol (heavy) paper. The sculptures still stand today – 6 years later! So I would like to recomend to you my adhesive savior: 3M Spray Adhesive! ( http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/3M-Super-77/Super77/ )

Just make sure when you use it you open the windows – or you may start to get a little tipsy haha.
