Since she goes on and on about size more than the design of “ugly” rings, I’d agree this is a socioeconomic difference, rather than race.

I see were your going with this, but I think it’s going to be taken incredibly wrong. Im not offended in the slightest, but some people get all touchy about this kind of stuff.

@humminbird:  You could ask for this thread to be closed….because yeah, it’s gonna offend some people.

@humminbird:  Right, which is why I suggested that you ask for the thread to be closed.

For the record, it didn’t offend me but (race issue aside) a lot of women on here have the kind of ring that the article was making fun of.

@MrsBot:  Ya but it’s not like OP was making fun of that ring the blogger was. I happen to agree with her. Its all a matter of opinion.

The comical part was the bloggers writing style. Hillarious.

I think it was offensive all around… and I’m not even who she was talking about.  I think it was also offensive to post this thread.  From the race issue, to the taste in rings issue– many posters on the bee have this kind of ring…. and many are not black.

This thread and that blog post were both in poor taste, IMO.

@pinkeclipse:  I actually partially agree with it. Not the race aspect but definitly the opinion on rings. I think clusters suck. That’s my opinion. I’m allowed to have one just like everyone else. If what I or anyone else thinks affects someone’s feelings about their own ring then they have much bigger issues then a cluster ring. Welcome to America!!!
