I’m planning my wedding for October but do not want the expected reds/yellows/oranges/browns. So I am thinking about having a grey/shale blue/white wedding and including some white pumpkin decor to tie in the fall feel (without support of many). Where can i find faux white pumpkins in a range of sizes?

I think that sounds lovely! You can find the white pumpkins in different sizes at Michael’s and you can also paint the orange ones if you need more sizes than what’s available.

I would buy them right after halloween from a store like michaels.

I think your color scheme sounds gorgeous, and I think white pumpkins could definitely work and would look great. However, I don’t think you should feel like you have to have a nod to the season in your decor if you don’t want to.

Start hitting up craft stores soon. Michaels had their craft pumpkins on sale this weekend and usually by the time Halloween/Autumn roll around they are totally out and moving onto Christmas/winter stuff.

Micheals, Joann, Hobby Lobby, AC Moore or real ones at your local farmers market Love the idea 😀

Hey date twin! I think your idea is great. I’m not doing red, black and white for my colours and people keep telling me to put in orange or to have leaves somewhere in the decor, etc. I know how you feel!

Oooh, that sounds dreamy! Though pumpkins definitely aren’t mandatory, I think artificial white pumpkins would be so beautiful with your color scheme as a creative nod to the season.
Since I’m so excited about this idea I hunted for some inspiration:
Ahh, all so pretty!

Thanks for the reply everyone! I’m glad I have some support 🙂 Check back for a new post, I’m not having much support when trying on dresses either. I guess I’m just “un-traditional” … let me know what you think!

What color blue are you thinking? I love the idea of the white pumpkins. Everyone will expect the fall color scheme- I think what you’re doing is unique and a great idea!

@caits615: A shale blue, which is like a light blue/green mix.
