I like it because it mirrors the rim of the engagement ring (that’s probably not what you call it lol) and is very aesthetically pleasing!

It’s funny, whenever I buy jewelry online, even when I know the measurements, it always looks smaller just because it’s hard to imagine the scale when the picture is so blown up on the screen. I’m usually only dissapointed for a couple days until my eyes adjust to the actual size and then I love it once I’m used to it =)

200$ customs fees is a lot, it would be a real shame! If you really dont like it, it might be worth it, but for what it’s worth, I think it looks absolutely lovely! The engagement ring is very unique looking and lovely so it really doesn’t need a thick band to accompany it in my opinion

I think the different texture compared to the solid shank of your e-ring helps it stand out!

I love it as is. At this size, it matches with the milgrain on your ring. I think if you go bigger, it won’t look as intentionally matched.

kimk1989 :  .5mm is like nothing. Like the width of a few hairs. If you go look at it on a ruler you’ll realize how tiny of a difference it is. I think it looks good. If you were to decide to change it up I’d go for a 2.5mm.

kimk1989 :  I think it gets lost :/ I would go with the 2mm, if for no other reason than that 2mm is a lot safer of a width for the stones – many jewelers wont even make shanks for diamond settings below 2mm because there’s not enough metal to hold things securely.

Love it 😍 looks amazing! I would keep it like it is, it is so dainty, you wouldn’5 notice the difference between a .5 mm.

I would honestly get the 2mm- I think just for the extra security since bands under about 1.8mm aren’t really known for their sturdiness. It is beautiful, though!
