Why not use a local dressmaker who can measure you herself? In any case, I’d get measured by a tailor. Self-measurements tend to be off.

Babily:  as dances123 stated use a tailor for your measurements not self-measurements. As for the returns, read the full policy. Many custom dresses are able to be returned but not refunded.

Bored6:  You might know what you like in pictures but it will look completely different ON you.   If you try on a ton of dresses and still can’t find the one, or are noticing you like certain parts of dresses but can’t find everything in one dress THEN I would look at having a dress custom made.
