How formal is your dress?

If you don’t want to be formal, it’s totally okay to tell people business casual or whatever you want them to wear!

We got married in a church and all my girls wore knee length dresses.  Some churches have restrictions on what you can wear (mostly I’ve heard of no bare shoulders), so you might just want to check with your church.  But otherwise, I think a short dress would be fine!  Good luck!  🙂

Your dress is stunning!  I think, given the church wedding and the asthetic of your dress, you should go for a long dress for Maid/Matron of Honor.  I think guys could do suits.

Unless it’s a super conservative church, I see no problem in knee length (or even slightly above the knee) Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. If you’re talking mini skirt short I might re-state my opinion. 🙂

I think you can have everyone wear whatever you want them to!  Don’t worry about it being formal or informal.  Just make it whatever you like!

I’d suggest the men wear jackets and ties, and they can always take them off in the evening.
