Mothers usually mean well :/ Could she just be worried about your health and not know a better way to approach it? (That’s going out on a limb, seeing as I know nothing about your weight or lifestyle or anything.)
Anyway, try not to let it bother you, I’m a size 6, and when my mom saw me on Thanksgiving she literally patted my belly and said “I thought you were getting rid of that”.I had 2 kids in 15 months, I do what I can LOL. Mothers.

It is UR wedding, not of ur mom. I find it stupid to try to fit some so called norms only just someone to like ur look, even more – do it in ur wedding day. This time before wedding shall be the most pleasant for u, u will always back in ur memories to this day, so why u think what ur mom thinks?? Why u care? U love ur husband and he loves u and how u look, so whats the problem? Enjoy it! U can get married in any dress, it can be not only white and big “tort-look” dress, u may always find smth elegant and nice. But I always sorry abt these hungry suffering brides for whom their look seems more important than the marriage by itself.

first of all, your mother is being mean and unfair to you. who cares what she thinks? what matters is that your Fiance loves you JUST the way you are, or we wouldn’t have asked you to spend the rest of his life with you, to be his wife. he loves you just as you are, and you need to know you’re beatuiful, no matter what your mom might think!

not ALL mothers usally mean well…mine was very verbally and emotianly abusive towards me growing up. in a perfect world, yes, all mothers would mean well but sometimes it happens that they don’t.
