@PilotsGirl56:  I would talk to your doctor about it-when you are scheduling the surgery  in November/December.

It can be so hard to decide when is the right time when there are so many factors going into the decision huh? Well I think your timeline of going off the pill in Feb sounds great.  It is a great goal to be able to pay down your credit card, just think how much less stress there will be. Also being your very healthiest seems wise too. Congrats on the lifestyle change!  I think if you are able to loose weight  before getting prgnant that will just put you on a great path of keeping healthy while preggo and loosing baby weight after the little one is here.

Now as someone who has endometriosis (and just had a lap yesterday for it) that can also play a big factor in knowing when to start TTC as well because it can be difficult to get pregnant with endo (sometimes) But one good thing about your doctor wanting to do surgery is that if you DO have it and they are able to clear it all out then that gives you your best odds at getting pregnant. The 1st 6 months after surgery is peak time to try and get pregnant.. So when your have surgery and if you have endo, then that should change your timeline. if you both decide that March is the best time after all maybe see if your doctor feels like the lap can wait unti January? Or just move your TTC timeline up.

I started googling out of curiosity and didn’t find 1 good article to post here but did see a lot of other health chat boards with women asking similar questions and there were a lot with women talking about hypothyroid and and having large cysts on their ovaries. You may have had a ruptured cyst which is why it didn’t show up on US. Either way ask your docotr. No need for surgery if you pain is gone and your ultrasound didn’t ahow anything.
