I havebeen with my fiance for 9 years, now we are getting married february 16. He is mexican and I am really not sire of all theiir wedding customs. We are getting married in an american church, but his parents keep asking me if they allow us to do a “LAZO” at an american ceremony. Can anyone tell me what the mexican wedding customs are, and id the american catholic churches allow you to use the “Lazo” as part of the ceremony.

if it is a catholic church i think they do use the lazo, im using it fir mine. a good wsy to find out is gi to your church set up a meeting with someone who can help you.

@hr1567: Please see the link below. I’m not sure what you mean by American Catholic? The Catholic Church is not distinguished by origin. that being said, traditions are Lazo, Arras, Flowers to Mary, Exchange of the Rings.
