… but am I the only one who’s super excited to see their Fiance and groomsmen all dressed up?! I know my ladies look *fabulous* when all dressed up, but I cannot wait to see all the men put together. My Fiance has no fashion sense and asked me to pretty much dress him. Our colors are plum Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses with orange flowers and gold as the accent color. Going with what he feels comfortable in, we chose medium gray vests and pants for Fiance and his groomsmen (and 1 groomslady!). Fiance will be wearing a gold tie, gromsmen wearing a plum, black, white striped tie (groomslady with no tie). My father is wearing the same gray in a full jacket and pants with a solid plum tie (so it coordinates with the GM but also doesn’t match exactly) and my ring bearer is wearing gray pants and plum suspenders and bowtie. I just love the fact that these colors will al go together so nicely but there are also a few different looks going on.
Bored at work at 4am and thinking of my wedding (per usual lol) and I keep getting excited about the men. I am trying to not get frustrated with the fact my dress still isn’t in (told me March back in October), so I am focusing my energy on my sharp dressed men!

Wow! We are using the same colors- purple, orange and gold accents. And we’re getting married in Oct. 2015 too! 🙂 I’m glad to hear someone else using the color combo because how we came to those colors were kind of random. I thought it would be nice and we could pull it off but you have confirmed it. Your men sound like they will be very nice looking.

Um yes, yes I am, lol. I hadn’t been until two weeks ago, when we were at a mall and saw a new discount suit store. My Fiance has been wearing these awful, hand-me-down suits from his father that are dated and ill-fitting. He and I both agreed that, even though the quality is poor, a $200 suit that fits him well is better than the old ones he’d been wearing.
So I was playing with my phone, only half paying attention as my Fiance tried on a few suits. Then he came out of the fitting room and…woof. Loved him in that suit. Started pushing him to buy several, lol. Now I cannot wait to see him in a tux!

I felt the same way when fi was all dressed up trying everything on. Can’t wait to see it fitted! Fiance has broad shoulders and looks like a kid in his dad’s jacket. Looks ill fitted every time. The vest is so flattering!
color twin!! I’m October 11th. I saw a picture with plum and orange and thought how great it would look against the fall leaves. Plus Halloween is my favorite holiday and purple and orange have always looked fun together on Halloween (plum is less Halloween imo). It’s like a nod to my favorite holiday. Purple and silver look great together but I felt gold is warmer and more fall like. Can’t wait to see pics of your wedding!
I agree that even a suit of less quality that fits well is better than ill fitted hand me downs. How often do you wear a suit? Not always very often. As long as you take good care of it it’ll lady a while.

Congrats, ya’ll! OP, your color combo sounds absolutely beautiful!! I’m excited about seeing the guys all snazzy too. Our wedding is October, 2016 & I get excited just by seeing my fiance trying on blazers for friends’ weddings now like “yep…that’s how we’re gonna end up pregnant” lmbo
