You look like you have a very nice & curvy body – definitely get a dress that will show off your waist more! Have the dress showcase YOU, and not the shoes!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Really cute dress, but you’re right, it’s not right for you.  It looks like you have great curves and this dress makes you look boxy.  At least you realize that this dress isn’t right for you!

I unfortunately don’t have pictures of the bad dresses, but I did try that exact same one on with high hopes that I would love it. My first words when I saw myself in the mirror was “Oh god, I look like a hobbit!” and I couldn’t stop laughing.

I think it has to do with being super short. At 5’4, the bottom of this dress hits near the bottom of my calves and it’s just awful. ๐Ÿ˜›

i fell in love with this mori lee 4524 – and honestly i loved it on in the store but when looking at pictures of myself in it i just hated it on me – im short and at a comfortable weight but i have huge boobs and this dress just made me look like a cupcake. BUT i will say its a gorgeous dress and there is an entire thread about it with some BEAUTIFUL brides. i was jealous. i really wanted this dress.

@Mrs.Mittens: lol I didn’t even come out of the dressing room in that dress. I’m 5’11 and I was like get this off of me!

I don’t have a photo of me in the Justin Alexander 8465. I told my Maid/Matron of Honor to put the camera down. It was that terrible on me!

This dress was pretty, but my boobs felt trapped and seriously it looked funny on me with the super wide band.

I loved the cut of this, but felt like a table cloth. I nixed trying on any other lace dresses after this!

So funny! I was thinking about posting something similar to this thread because I also answered Miss Tattoo’s. Mainly because I was so freakin’ sure that Jules was going to be the dress of my dreams, and I didn’t care what anyone said! Including my fellow lovely Bees. I just knew I found “the one”. Here she is, the bi-yatch that broke my heart!

…and then, the love of my life that put my heart back together. She made me believe again:

I looked tore up from the floor up in Jules, but I looked the way I wanted to feel in madison.

@Bellagiobride: ha ha ha. That’s awesome. That’s how I felt in the Justin Alexander. I was like WTF is all of this! Get this shit off of me!

@Miss Tattoo:

LOL, We are kindred in that respect. Did your other post say you are 5’11? Good googlie mooglie! You are model tall. I can see why you thought you would look amazing in tea length. But, you found a dress that you look gorgeous in, and that what we all want!

My mom loved this dress on me but I was just not into it. I love lace but this was not my dress. (As you can tell by my face and my boobs hanging out)
