So, Fiance and I dont do any “preventing” but we are not activly TTCing. Fiance is newly 42, with other children and I am younger with no children. I am a week away from AF, who is always timely.. and cramping (which never happens before, during or after) and now find myself getting dizzy threw out the day.
How early can someone test? Should I be worried? I am very new, and totally unsure of how “pregnancy” symptoms are. Fiance wants more children, and I would love a child as well, but I am still very unsure..

Djacks88: Depends on how long your cycles are. For someone with a 28 day cycle, ovulation usually occurs around day 14. A First Response Early Result test could give a positive around 9-10 days after ovulation at the earliest, but a negative test that early wouldn’t rule out pregnancy.

Djacks88: In your situation, I wouldn’t recommend testing until AF is late, even with the early response tests..

I’d probably wait till AF is due, at least. But I wouldn’t worry too much about pregnancy symptoms. Peopple symptom spot all the time, but everyone is so different a lot of symptoms can mean multiple things. I got zero symptoms, except a no-show AF, when I was first pregnant. No weird cramps, no sickness, dizziness, etc.
