- Wedding: May 2012
My Fiance and I aren’t getting married until June 2012. We have a contract on our wedding reception site. The next important thing to me is photography. I found a photographer that I loved at a wedding show. When I e-mailed them last weekend to schedule an appointment, they were already booked for my date. I was bummed, to say the least. They’ve taken some great pictures, they were really friendly and relatable, and I was so sad that we missed out on them! Due to our schedules plus the venue’s schedule, the weekend we picked is really the best choice, so moving it won’t work so well.
I have now heard of another photographer through a friend that is getting married in 2011. She and her Fiance booked them in November for an October wedding (granted, it’s a Friday night wedding). These photographers have won some awards, they photograph for a bridal magazine, they seem very well respected. I have a meeting scheduled with them. I feel like I want to book them, but I’m also nervous that I may be doing this just so I don’t miss out on another awesome photographer–again. Looking at their website, they have done some AMAZING work.
At the same time, since we do have awhile, something tells me I should research a little more. It sounds silly, but I don’t want to rush through all of the planning!
