I sometimes only wear my wedding band. When it’s cold my engagement ring is loose and I’m afraid I will lose it so take it off and other times I just feel like wearing my wedding band. I don’t think its weird. It still means the world to me.

@Mylnn:  a lot of women wear only their wedding ring after marriage… i don’t think there’s anything wrong with it!

Im very careful when looking at wedding rings for one that can stand alone, because there will be lots of times I won’t be wearing my engagement ring.

I’m getting a wedding ring with no stones that will work by itself so I can wear it alone.  I work with children in a daycare, and my engagement ring will be destroyed if I continue to wear it to work daily…once I’m married it will stay home from work, and other places that could cause damage, but I will wear it out and to places where I won’t be banging it around on everything.

I don’t plan on wearing my e-ring after we have kids since it is a high setting and gets in the way a lot. For now, I don’t wear my e-ring when we travel or if I’m “bumming it” for the day. I never thought I’d say this, but sometimes it’s just too much bling with the e-ring and wedding band together so I choose to just wear the wedding band.

I don’t think it is odd at all! I only plan on not wearing my e ring when we travel at this point though.

lately, I have been taking off my set and wearing a plain band around the house. it’s just so much more comfortable.

as for wearing just a wedding band with no e-ring in public- I see lots and lots of women doing this!
