I was married 9-22-13. I hired what I thought were outstanding photographer and videographers. I paid 3300 up front for a full day and 2 photographers. I booked a seperate videographer for $1500. The photographer had good reviews online and was very prompt and nice at the wedding. It is about to be a year and I have about 125 pictures sent to me in dribs and drabs most that I had to beg for. The videographer did my 2-3 minute trailor but was supposed to to a 30 min storytelling as well. I have not recived that. I have contracts for both but no final date that the complete product was to be finished by. I have contacted both at a final attempt to make things right by our first Anniversary. If they do not I will be contacting our lawyer and the BBB. I wanted to make other brides aware of this post wedding issue.

That’s so unfortunate. Yes always make sure you have it in your contract as to when you should be receiving your photos by.

diamondsragrlbf: GREAT ADVICE! I worked for a wedding photographer and tell people that all the time. I mean this photographer was good with it, but I saw other people getting burned with their photographers. It’s really too bad since it’s some of the most important photos you’ll ever have. Good luck with your situation.

Update, Videographer Something Blue Productions did have the video online for our one year anniversary. It is great quality and I am finished with the final cut. I dont think any bride should have to wait a year though to see their video. I did not get a copy sent to me just a vimeo link.
As far as the photography goes I did get MOST (NOT ALL) images on our 1 year aniversary. Most remain watermarked and cannot be printed. Ivy Darling is a wonderful person and does unique editing. She is still remains in breech of contract. She has not completed the entire wedding in over 13 months. Due to this i could not recommend her as a vendor.
