YES i totally do! i keep some canned soup and ramen (especially if i’m sick–ramen is great for sick days, haha). I also keep oatmeal, malt o meal, fiber one (milk from the vending machine!) and protein shake powder. I usually stash a few protein bars for emergencies, too. I keep yogurt in the office fridge.

Can you tell i eat breakfast at work? =]

I keep raw almonds, a can of Amy’s lentil soup, a pouch of tuna fish, vinegar and beef jerky.

I also bring in the beginning of the week a bag of veggies and hummus and greek yogurt so I can eat that as my snacks as I want.

When I worked in an office, I kept Luna and Mojo bars in my desk, as well as a pouch of tuna and a ziplock of rolled oats mixed with cinnamon…So great when you forget lunch or have a frozen meal fail!

Now I’m in school so I try to keep a Luna in the glove compartment of my car, but it’s not quite the same thing and sometimes it taunts me on the way home since I’m always stuck in traffic.  I get hungry around 6, 6.30, and won’t get home until 7.15, but I know if I eat the bar I’ll mess up the dinner schedule. It’s very distracting, though! So I have to figure out a better system.

Oh no, I hate it when that happens!!! I have been burned 1 too many times so now I always have some type of snacks which consists of oranges, crackers, apple, and cheese sticks. It looks like I am some type of mouse collecting all these snacks and cheese sticks in my fridge at work Lol.

@BunnyBrideToBe: Put it in the trunk.  Then you can’t just grab it while driving. You would have to get out of the car, but its still there for emergency purposes.

I have a container of trail mix, a box of Kashi oatmeal rasin cookies, and a box of Smartfood popcorn clusters all in my cubby in my cubicle.  They serve as mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks but are also there in case of emergencies!

i’d starve if i could eat only one lean cuisine for lunch. but i do love those lean cuisines. which one did you get that was gross? i just had a steamer bag (vs. the box kind) and it was an improvement! try one of those sometime. i have trail mix at my desk.

I keep some fruit and granola bars around and drink tea, but my favorite is my small container of light peanut butter and plain unsalted rice cakes.  They go together so well…and are so delicious!

I actually keep a “back-up meal,” something big enough that I won’t just munch on it. Right now I have an extra Smart Ones breakfast sandwich just in case I have a gross lunch experience, lol. If I kept supplemental foods, I would devour them, lol.

I am on a very regimented snack schedule too! I love my smart one’s frozen meals for lunch, but to mix it up I also keep cans of soup (campbell’s healthy choice for the most part), rice cakes, and crackers (wheat thins flatbread) in my drawer. I also keep a pack of the laughing cow cheese wedges in the fridge to go with the crackers I keep at my desk. 🙂

@lefeymw:  GENIUS!  I tried it out Friday and, even though it still taunts me mentally, I think I will eventually get over that element (out of sight out of mind, but I have to retrain myself not to expect it).  Such an easy-to-implement fix and it totally worked. Thank you!
