Ugh, Idk… I don’t, either!  I’m hoping for some inspiration here! 🙂

I’m borrowing bobby pins and maybe a hair tie from my mom.  Since I’m getting married at her place and I live halfway across the country, it makes sense.

i borrowed my sisters necklace – its a beautiful 1.5ct round diamond that was my grandmothers. My sister orginally had it in her engagement ring but after she divorced she had it put into a necklace – bad juju? maybe – but i didnt think so.

i think you can combine them – i had a bracelet that was my other grandmothers that i used for something old, but the necklace would have been fine as my something old and borrowed too – luckily my mom swooped in and gave me the bracelet as my something old

I’m “borrowing” my veil- it’s a friend’s and technically she said I could keep it, but I’m going to give it back to her so that it’s truly borrowed!

It’s funny you mention this because I was married just a couple of weeks ago and that was the one thing I was missing! We realized afterward that I was actually covered because on the day of my wedding I borrowed my Aunt’s signature lipstick to wear under my gloss for that added pop.

I think you could use anything really. It could be as simple as borrowing a pin. I tried borrowing a ring from my grandma to wear, but my fingers were too small to fit anything and I didn’t want to loose it. Maybe you could borrow a brooch to pin inside your dress or something?

My ‘old’ and ‘borrowed’ was a big gold cross necklace of my grandmother’s that she gave me the day before the wedding. There was no way I was wearing it, but it looked gorgeous wrapped around my bouquet!

I think I am borrowing my MILS outragelously beauitful pearl and diamond earrings.

But be creative! My something blue is my ’emergency’ engagement ring (blue diamonds) strung on the ribbon wrapped around my bouquet! It doesnt’ have to be soemthing you actually wear.

I borrowed a hairpin from my sister and attached it to my bouquet wrap.
