If it’s a Tiffany they should be able to replace the stone with no problem.

You don’t need to return the whole ring. I would imagine Tiffany would replace the stone without issue.

You are paying for quality and customer service–and you should be happy with your ring. Ask them to replace the stone.

Don’t stress. Easy fix!! It’s probably just a cracked stone or something that happened during sizing.

This same thing happened to me after taking mine in to get cleaned! One stone on my band was noticeably darker and I freaked out. I took it back in and they said the cleaning solutions wasn’t completely removed on that diamond. They cleaned it again and voila, it was gone!

Easy fix, pave stones should be able to be replaced fairly quickly 🙂

Take it back. Tiffany is a company that stands behind their products.

My ring isn’t even a Tiffany but the jeweler fixed damage to the band during resizing for free. I’m sure Tiffany will replace your damaged stone no problem!

rae718 :  soak it in warm soapy water and then clean it with a soft toothbrush, or if you have an ultrasonic cleaner use that. Professional jewelers polish leaves behind black residue that needs to be cleaned off. It’s probably just that.

I had something that looked just like that on my wedding band a few months ago and it drove me nuts too. I figured it was a cracked stone but when I took it in for my yearly free deep cleaning and polishing, it was gone when I got it back, so it must have been dirt or something! Hopefully it goes away or Tiffany can replace it for you for a low price!!
