being cautiously optimistic right now. I had a pretty good drop on progesterone between my two betas even though my hcg more than tripled. So hoping this is a sticky baby that hangs around until November

How old are you and partner? 27/27

How far along are you? 4w5d

Estimated Due Date? 11/9/2020

What baby # is this? 2 (second November baby)

How many cycles trying? 5

When did you get your BFP? 2/27

Who have you told? My husband, best friend, and a couple people at work that found out on accident

When do you plan to tell other people? We might wait a bit since we are having some issues with progesterone right now and just started supplements.

How did you tell your partner? I put my daughter in a big sister shirt

Any symptoms? Some nausea, low back pain, occasional cramps and twinges

What are you most excited about? Watching my daughter be a big sister!

When is your first appointment? Having an early ultrasound on 3/20 to ensure the baby is growing well and in the right place (considering progesterone issues and history of ectopic) but my first OB appointment is 4/3

Are you planning on finding out the sex? Nope!

So, this is our first pregnancy. Got the positive on Friday and I’ve continued to test each morning and line continues to be steady or get darker. On Monday 3/9 I will be 4 weeks along exactly.

My question is: who are you telling this early on? I wouldn’t mind telling our mothers, for instance, but it still just seems so new and i feel worried, that I’m wondering if i should wait to tell them, until like maybe the first Dr Appt? (I don’t have one yet but plan to call tomorrow, and I see you normally go in between 8-10 weeks so I’m looking at mid-April). Thoughts?

els2016 :  I have been using my pregmates too every day to watch the line get darker! I finally didn’t this morning, but I’m going to at 5, 6, and 7 weeks just to keep myself from going too crazy!

els2016 :  Thank you, that’s a really good point. I guess I’m still in so much disbelief I can barely believe I’m pregnant and I feel like it could all go away any minute like it was just a dream!
