I’m currently at the hospital. I had to be induced today because my Bridal Party was high and the doctors think my water ruptured. I was 3 cm dilated at my appointment today. Please keep baby and me in your thoughts!

@Cory_loves_this_girl:  Thinking of you! I hope you have a great birth. Exciting!

@Fall_In_Love22:  Congrats!

@RunningGal:  Big relief. Back to the waiting game now.

@GreenDream:  Congrats to all the FB mamas! If any of them still hang about these parts — come tell us how it went! Uber-exciting!

Well today’s my due date and all’s quiet with the babe. Not worried about it as anything up to 42 weeks is normal and she’s not ‘late’ since due dates are such an approximation. My husband thinks the babe is waiting for the full moon on the weekend. We shall see! Haven’t done much to bring on labour other than a bit of spicy food and some accupuncture. If nothing’s happened by my appt on Monday then we might do a stretch and sweep at the midwife.

Look at all the beautiful November babies!

Our Riley Paige was born On 11/14/13 at 6:20 pm, weighing in a 6 lbs 14 oz and 20.75 inches long! I was induced on 11/13 because there was a suspected leak in my waters. I was in labor for about 26 hours, 2 of which were pushing. All I can say is that I wouldn’t have been able to do it without an epidural. It was my best friend! Riley was born vaginally with the cord wrapped around her neck one time and covered in merconium. The doctor had to cut the cord instead of Darling Husband, and then they put her on my chest for about 10 seconds and then about 15 people rushed into the room to get her to breathe and cry. It seemed like it took FOREVER to hear her make a peep and I was a crying wreck. They kept telling me she was okay and was just stunned, but I wasn’t okay until I heard her. After all of that, they put her on my chest for skin to skin and we were able to breastfeed. I cant believe how much I loved her as soon as she was born. Darling Husband and I were crying puddles of goo! What an overwhelming experience.

I TOTALLY forgot to come and update you ladies who aren’t in the Facebook group! Thank you, @StaceyA for updating about my very early baby, who was born on September 9th. We weren’t due until November 6th!!!

Our baby boy weighed 3lbs, 8oz when he was born. He is strong, healthy, and doing extremely well. He spent about 5 weeks in the NICU and is doing amazing! He now weights 8lbs, 8oz. so he has gained 5 lbs in 2 months! We are so proud of him! Here are some pictures of our little man!

@BeccaBee83:

@Cory_loves_this_girl:

Beautiful! Congrats to both of you.

My beautiful daughter was born this morning at 8:54 AM after 36.5 hrs of labour (induced). My midwife tested my blood pressure on Monday and it was up up up.

I went into the hospital for induction and had a really rough time of it. That said, my midwives were fantastic and they stayed with us in hospital for at least 24 of those hours. I had 24 hours of hard labour without much pain medication until my body started pushing automatically when I was 6 cm dilated. In order to keep my shot at a vaginal birth, had to take an epidural to avoid my cervix from swelling up because the baby was essentially banging at a closed door.

After the epidural, felt much more in control and was able to sleep after many hours of being awake. It took 3 hours of pushing (due to epidural) but managed to vaginally deliver my beautiful girl — all 8.5 pounds of her without tearing a damn thing. Very proud! Was able to get up and have a shower after two hours. We’re just hanging around the hospital today to make sure my blood pressure stays normal and then we can go home. Feel fantastic and she’s perfect!

My little girl.

We had a rough road this week — I ended up hospitalised for three days due to rare form of postpartum pre-eclampsia. Scary but all is well now. Goodbye November and good luck to any remaining November babies in the next few days or those that fall into December babies!
