Anyone excited beyond belief already??
I am so very very very excited and giddy already, I just cannot wait! In some way, I wish there were a machine to make time pass quicker, but on the other hand I really am enjoying the planning process. Plus, having a long while to plan means we have more time to focus on the small details which is great.
I get happy butterflies whenever I think about it, and I think next year around this time I will be permanently bouncing around from excitement! And definitely won’t be able to concentrate on work!

Wow, you have over a year to plan… put that time to good use. Ae you doing any DIY? I am November this year and the time is fast approaching. I am excited for it to be over already (although I sometimes wish I had more time LOL)>

My date is November 09, 2013 and I am definitely excited! I find that it comes and goes in waves though. For example when we were creating and constructing the STD’s, I was ecstatic! When we chose the venue and picked the travel agent, I was over the roof with excitement. I am doing lots of DIY projects and that has kept me busy as well, but now things are pretty much planned so I am trying to enjoy the moments of calm. Having a long(er) engagement has helped keep my nerves calm during the planning process. And since it’s a destination wedding, I have had to surrender so much control and anxiety!!
Happy planning! I look forward to hearing all about it during this next year 🙂
By The Way, this is my 1st post! (Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!) LOL

I agree with y’all that it comes and goes. I can go for a while (max 7 days haha) of not thinking about the wedding, and then all of a sudden I get all wedding crazy again. It’s the same with my stress levels… At one point I would feel perfectly calm and then a few days later get all frazzled and stressed out!
Nevertheless, I am super excited. Just checked out wedding videos of other couples who got married at our venue and this has contributed much to my happiness level! 🙂

I’m getting married November 30, 2013. Super excited too. I got so much done already. I’m just focusing on all the bills. So all of the expenses don’t come all at once. My fiance and I are paying for our wedding ourselves. I got my dress, photographer, singer, venue, clergy, center pieces which is a DIY project,as is the favors but gonna wait a bit but have the details down. Happy planning!

Strangely, I’ve been not at all excited for a while–months! Then, recently (I think it had to do with procrastination on another project, to be honest), I kicked back into wedding mode and now I want to work on my list of DIY projects. Still, while I’m looking forward to the wedding, I’m not actually *excited* yet—I think that’ll come when I’m closer to the actual event.

I’ve also been dividing my attention between other projects and wedding and each time I focus my attention back on the wedding I get this surge of excitedness!
At the moment I am bouncing around excited because I found my dress today! So like literally jumping around. I have now idea how I’m going to be feeling next year this time, maybe I will be burnt out by then hahaha! x

I’m newly engaged and enjoying the excitement of getting the ball offically rolling since I am guilty of planning well before the ring! What kind of weather are you all hoping for for your big days? It’s the one thing that makes me kind of nervous as West Virginia can be incredibly unpredictable! Also, when are you all sending out StDs? I’m thinking Feb…

@blastkiss: Congrats on finding your dress!
@MsJess204: We’re hoping for cool but not chilly, and definitely not a scorcher. Unfortunately Florida weather at the beginning of November can go either way, but we’ll roll with it and have a rain plan in place, too.
I’m going with a “very good year” sort of vibe so plan to send out the StDs in early January–it’s a little earlier than it needs to be, but I want to give our handful of out of town guests as much info as possible as early as is feasible.

@MsJess204: I have no idea what to expect. I paid close attention to November weather this year and it cycled between too hot to move/breathe/do anything and freezing cold and rainy. This is so uncharacteristic but I’m just taking it all in stride and will see what happens next November.
