I love that lantern!  I’m getting married early November and although my colors aren’t very autumn-y, I’m quite happy with them.  I really wanted mismatched china, but went for the much cheaper option of tea cups.  I have two paper covered books for each table (all different – one print and one solid), three tea cups, and three gold rimmed votives.  My florist is filling each cup with flowers and the venue has cut glass candelabras on each table that we will have gold tapers in.  Luckily my florist will help me arrange them in an attractive way.  Excuse my mess of a floor in this pic…centerpiece

NovemBride1415:  Very pretty!  And so awesome that you got a good deal!  My only recommendation is to maybe have them sit on a mirror?  I’ve seen this before and it looks really pretty especially with all the reflections if you’ll be having candles.  Good luck!

NovemBride1415:  love it! I’m waiting on my table number holders to come. They’re supposed to get here Friday so I’ll try to remember to get a picture then.

NovemBride1415:  Beautiful! I love that the color in both the lantern and frame is not one-dimensional and flat. It’s silver, and black and pewter, depending on the light.

Rather than the oft used log slice, you could use something like this

NovemBride1415:  I didn’t do fall colors. I have a 1940’s theme. Some of my tables will be this and some will have blue stars with the candleholders having silver wrapped around the lace. There will be water inside with floating candles and the table number holders will actually be printed up. Each table number has a different slang saying from the 1940s and the meaning of it plus the actual table number. Please excuse my fiance’s leg in the picture and the thing of cheese dip. I didn’t realize he had set it on the table until after I took the picture haha!

Table numbers will go in front in frames.  Haven’t had a chance to go to ikea to buy them yet.  Also will have tea lights scatterEd across the tables.

Our colors are purple and yellow/gold (for LSU!) The only gold is in the centerpieces, as yellow was just too much there.

Very similar to the below except larger! Same colors and same vases. Our florist is doing them so not completely sure what the final product is going to look like.
