I’m the opposite, I actually hate fall colors! I really LOVE fall, just not the oranges/golds/browns.

I’m going to focus on sort of a “romantic woods” theme – so lots of branches and skeleton leaves (just bleached dried leaves instead of rose petals) and the warm glow of candlelight. I’m trying to include strings of leaves to my branch centerpieces so it sort of looks like willow trees. I’m planning on using carnations for all my flowers (I love how they smell and they are so much cheaper to buy wholesale than almost any other flower).

I’m not having a cake! I love cupcakes, so I jumped on the cupcake trend. I’m going to add little white fondant flowers to the cupcakes.

I know, is it just me or does it seem like there aren’t that many November brides?

OH! I am going to give out mini pumpkins as favors though. That’s pretty fall-y.

Also, 1000th post. Wooo.

I am having grey, dark purple. and brown as our colors. I thought it fit in nicely since it will be later fall. I have nothing set in stone yet but I love the look of willow trees/manzanita branches (i know, sooo overdone)..but i think it would fit the theme really well!

I saw an idea on style me pretty that I fell in love with that i think i am using. I am going to get a fake tree, like a metal one, and have a basket of skeleton keys. I am also going to have a box of little pieces of paper and then have a little sign that says “keys to a happy marriage”. the guests have to take a key (that will have a string looped around it) and write on the piece of paper their key to a happy marriage and loop the key in and hang it on the tree.

Well, maybe it’s because there is no real “Fall” season where I live, but I don’t really identify with fall colors. I’m planning a blue/purple pallette with a love bird theme.

@MlleBrielle: I’m doing silver manzanita branches with crystals!

Our palette is silver, charcoal, and shades of pink- a pretty far stretch from “fall” colors! Haha, but our wedding was originally scheduled for Jan. 2012 so the colors/decor just stayed when we moved the date.

Our colors are black, gold, and cranberry. We are doing curly willow centerpieces with black magic rose bundles and hanging votive candles. We aren’t doing fall-ish favors- we are doing decorated oreos! I always imagined having a fall wedding- it’s my favorite season- but I am not a fan of the fall colors either! And I hate Halloween so I didn’t want any orange (that’s the only thing I associate orange with- no offense to anyone using orange. It’s just my opinion). Here is the pic that our centerpieces are based off of. Ours will also have different height pillar candles surrounding the vase on the table:

And here is a sample of the decorated Oreos! Half of them will have our picture on them and the other half will be our monogram (alternating plates). I just thought they were so cute and unique- and fancy! The monogram ones will be this same exact thing except black letters. They will be in a clear bag celophane bag with a cranberry ribbon to tie it off:

@miss bloom: Thank you!! I’m so excited to see it all come together! I have everything laid out perfectly in my head, so my florist/decorator has very high expectations to live up to ๐Ÿ™‚ The Oreos look too pretty to eat! Luckily I don’t like chocolate, so I can just look at them all night and won’t want to eat any ๐Ÿ™‚

Mmmm… oreos…!

Instead of fall colors, I am doing navy blue, fuchsia, and white.  There won’t be too many pinks, mainly in flowers and as accents in decorations.  I am using manzanitas and crystals for the centerpieces.

@akulish413: You got the highly acclaimed 11-11-11 date! Congrats! I tried for that- venue was booked. Then I tried for 11-12-11- venue was booked. So we got the 19th, which is fine. We loved the venue and worked around it. It’s so cool though that you got it! Please tell me your ceremony is starting at 11:11am! LOL ๐Ÿ™‚

I am Nov. 2012 and my colors are brown and ivory. We are thinking of getting married in a barn that has a really cool rustic vibe to it (not to mention a bunch of antique farm equipment) and would need very very little decoration, but I will be doing just about everything in browns, ivories and candlelight-type hues with maybe a little sage green mixed in. White xmas lights too! I love white xmas lights.

@SBourgeous: I love fall, but not the orange, yellow, or gold either…

Thats why we are doing burgundy, chocolate, olive and cream. A very rustic chic vibe. A lot of birch, wood, candles, and moss. ๐Ÿ™‚
