Hi Ladies! I’m getting married in November 2014 and I’m second guessing the color of the bridesmaids dresses I have chosen (not yet ordered). My color scheme is purple, grey and white. The color I have chosen is the middle dress below and although it’s beautiful, I’m afraid it might look black in photos since it’s so dark. Any opinions would be great!

I love that colour & think it’s perfect for a winter wedding. X

Love it! I’m having deep red and grey for my November 2014 wedding. Love the jewel tones.

Pretty dress! The color is lovely for a winter wedding, it is dark and could look black in pictures if that is your concern. For your color scheme you could do purpleish grey.. or a lighter purple!
Best of luck!

It does look black on my screen, but i don’t necessarily think that is a bad thing!

Hi fellow November 2014 bee! I think the dress you chose is perfect! My bridesmaids are wearing a plum purple, similiar to the dress on the right in your picture. Purple is a great color for November weddings!

I bet your photog has a good camera and it should show the color as you see it in person. I do love that purple!

The only time I would think it might look black is in super low lighting, but if you have a good photog, it should show up true to color. I think it’s a really pretty eggplant color.

I’m doing black in November so I think the dark colors are awesome.

Thank you so much for all of your feedback! I am hoping that my photographers cameras should catch the color of the dark purple (for what I’m paying they should! :)) However, my venue is a loft and I’m picturing dim, romantic lighting and our ceremony is at 5pm. Hmmm…
