I’m getting married in November in the Atlanta area and am having a hard time picking a honeymoon spot!! I would love some advice! We want luxurious beaches/resorts in addition to culture & nightlife so that we’ll have a nice balance. We’re be travelling for our honeymoon the first week in November for 6 days.
At this point, we’re thinking Caribbean or Central/South America. Europe is too cold and Tahiti, Fiji, Australia, and southeast asia is way too far away for a 6 day trip. Any idea which areas in the Caribbean or Cental and South America would have great weather & give us the atmosphere/experience we’re looking for? I’m just concerned about it being borderline rainy season/hurricane season in these areas 🙁
Let me know if you have thoughts. Thanks!!

We went to Couples Negril in Jamaica in November and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect! I think travelling to the Carribean in November is pretty much a safe bet for weather. We always travel down south in April and November because those are supposed to be the best 2 months for weather.
Although Couples Negril isn’t a “luxury” resort, it was for us. It’s more like a boutique resort but the service you get is so phenomenal you feel like a king and queen. Although it’s a bit of a ways from Montego bay, they do have shuttles there almost every night to take people to and from the resort to the town. We left the resort once because we were just so content there and there was always lots to do.
We loved the beach. It’s situated on Bloody Bay so the water is always so calm and clear! they have floaties you can use in the water all day and just float your day away! They have red flag service where they give you a red flag and anywhere around the beach or pool if you stand the flag up, they will come get you a drink for you.
we are going back to Couples Negril for our honeymoon in April(but hopefully bumping it up to this november as well) and ever since i left last time i’ve been dreaming of the day i can go back it’s that awesome!
