MrsWhitneyC2015 : Congratulations bee!!
ETA: AFM, DH and I weren’t able to BD during my FW, so I’m very likely out, but will wait for AF to have the final say. Lots of baby dust to all of you in the running!

amanda1988 : thanks for taking over! I thinkkkk my new poas will have to be nov 30th, if ff is correct it has me ovulating on nov 17.
I think I definitely get multiple surges. Was planning on starting my opks tomorrow but took one today and it was really dark. Not positive but super dark like tomorrow or Monday(cd 10&11) would be positive. This is exactly what happened last month and made me think I ovulated on cd 11 so we stopped hardcore bd’ing and then I think I didn’t actually ovulate and did later on cd 20. We’re going to start bd’ing every other day from tomorrow on anyway, but definitely won’t stop until FF shows me I’ve ovulated.
Olddddd false positive no actual ovulation trick isn’t going to get me this month.

I’ve Felt so sucky and horrible the last couple of days with a crazy headache that starts as soon as I wake up and like very mild nausea. Like I just feel like laying down for the whole day. But alas, I’m a night shift nurse and have to work daylight savings 😞
And also still neg hpts which makes it all feel not worth the suckiness

MrsWhitneyC2015 : congrats!!!!!
amanda1988 : I’m thinking I’m going to have another POAS date in November. Today there was some very small clots in my bleed, it looks less and less like IB and more like AF. Neg this am (expected if it was IB, dumb to test if actually AF). Still twinges. Luckily today was crazy busy a time work so I didn’t have time to think about it (let alone eat, or pee for that matter). Thanks for taking over part 2.
nursebee22 : I feel the same way. Sorry you have to work tonight, I was supposed to work overnight today but I ended up switching to work day instead (which is a much busier shift than nights here)

That article about maximizing fertility was so great!! Thank you for posting Amanda. I would add that the other main tip I’ve seen is that apparently consuming full-fat dairy products in place of skim or low-fat ones seems to have a significant effect. It’s something about how skimming the fat off leaves more androgen (male) hormones relative to estrogen and progesterone (female) hormones in the milk – which may affect fertility. .
KittyYogi : oh yeah? That’s good to know because the only dairy I consume is half and half and full fat yogurt lol! I’ve never seen that advice before.
nursebee22 : I’m sorry, female hormones can really suck can’t they?
anev : Keep us in the loop. The clots aren’t super promising, I’ll admit, but I’m still hopeful for you! I felt so sure based on your symptoms yesterday!

Darn! I knew 2013 sounded wrong. Here’s the 2017 update to that “Optimizing Natural Fertility” paper!!
I did a quick skim and luckily the two are nearly identical (in fact, I don’t see any differences but surely something must have changed..)
