@glittermoon: From my experience, mental health issues are never helped by free floating hormones either! Take care of yourself, and make sure that you get help if you need it! You will be an excellent mom whenever you get there, because anyone who bothers to worry about being a horrible mom never would be one.

@macintosh:Thanks! Hang in there! I just had a girl from high school announce on facebook too. Her fourth! I didn’t even know I was old enough to know someone with four children! Sorry that your day is so crap.

@luluh: I love your attitude about all this – it’s helping pick me up out of my minor grievances! I have a stock of 11 blue dye tests (none of which are internet cheapies, because I am always to impatient to order and then wait for them to be shipped) and 4 FRERs, so I am pretty sure that I won’t run out if I do decide to test tomorrow. And every other day for the next 14 days! I feel like the Bee is a great place where I can just be happy and excited for people’s TTC journey without the same jealousy that I experience in my real life.

@wifegoodman: the other day I typed an “e” into my phone search engine, and a history of every single variation of “early pregnancy symptoms (i.e. “very early pregnancy symptoms by day” and “is one sore breast an early pregnancy symptom”…) popped up! Wonder what I have been thinking about lately…

@glittermoon:  hugs lady. the fact you care so much about how good of a mom you’ll be is proof that you’ll be a fabulous one. Curl up with a nice warm bubble bath and treat yourself to a massage soon!!

@glittermoon:  Sorry about the hub’s ex. My oldest daughter’s dad and his new wife are on their second oopsie baby (they’re 30 years old, you’d THINK they’d know how to use protection) and he just baaaaarely has a relationship with our daughter. A little back story: we were HS sweethearts, I got preggers right out of HS. He completely left right after she was two and started dating his current wife. They’ve been on and off for about 10 years, she got “accidentally” KU when they had been off for over a year back in ’04. They just got married back in January (2 days before our daughter’s 12th birthday. She boycotted the wedding.) Now they’re expecting a daughter next month. Needless to say my kid is having issues with it. Luckily my DH is more of a dad to her than her bio dad has ever been and I’m glad that he’s a part of her life. Anywoo! What I was trying to get to is I feel you. I’m sure you’re not as bad a mom as you think. Sometimes I think the same thing but everyone tells me (especially my kids) that I’m an amazing mom. I think it’s just hard for us to see ourselves in the same light, KWIM? I’m sure you’ll do fine and will get pregnant. Don’t give up! I suffer from PTSD, horrible anxiety and migraines and I’ve been off my meds since February because I knew we were going to TTC right after we got married and everything I was on is known to cause birth defects. The past 9 months have been a crazy roller coaster ride! Big hugs to you!

@MrsHovzilla:

Thank you all. It means a lot that you’re so supportive when I’m acting like a whiny bizzatch. I feel a bit better after crying a lot and having a good night with my stepdaughter. Plus my husband knew I was upset and bought me a card, a rose, some stress relief lotion for a nice massage tonight, and this giant chocolate fancy thing. I have BPD, so like the residual effects of PTSD during my childhood. Aka; I can get really moody and depressed one second and find the next. I have no idea how I’m going to handle two kids if it happens. My husband’s ex just adds to the pressure to be a good mom. I’m sorry about your ex MrsHovzilla. It’s really sad when parents don’t step up for their kids. It breaks my heart because my SD’s mom hasn’t talked to her in 2 and a half years…since before she could talk. My SD (at the age of four, almost five) has decided to call her by her first name instead (she’s been calling me mom and seeing me as her mom since around a month or two after my husband and I got together). It just makes me so upset that she can live with herself and be happy while abandoning such a beautiful little girl who needed a mom so bad.

Congratulations! I must admit that I can’t really see the second line on the non-digital test – are they always that feint?

OK…well, yesterday, I had bad cramps so was convinced AF was coming…nothing, nothing this morning, took a First Response test…

BFP!!!!!!!!!

And not only a BFP, but I had my phone stopwatch on to make sure I waited the 3 minutes, and that line came up dark and fast, only like 40 seconds!

Totally shocked. Happy. And suddenly INCREDIBLY NERVOUS.

Hope this one sticks!!! Good luck to you guys!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK
