@MrsEagleEye:  Thanks for the info! But you can definitly tell your peak? They do get dark? I worry mine will be light and I won’t be able to tell if it is a positive. I am hoping it will be obvious!

@LuluH:  I hear you – I had a lot of questions before I started, too, and it took a couple months to get the hang of it.  It’s different for everyone but all you can do is try and see how your temps react to the different timing.  If I were you, I would do it the first time you stir at 3:30.  For me, my temp is the same whether I temp at 4am or 7am as long as I’m coming out of a deep sleep.  It’s when my sleep gets interrupted that my temp starts to rise.  DH and I usually get out of bed around 8 (late, I know!), but I start stirring between 7 and 7:30 and take my temp once I’m cognizant that I’m stirring.  My temps are pretty consistent and I can always see a shift after O so I don’t feel the need to set an alarm or try to temp at the exact same time each day.  Also, because my temps are the same no matter what time it is as long as I’m in a deep sleep, if I wake up to pee at  5 or 6, I take it then.  But, like I said, everyone is different – some people have a change in temp if it’s 30 minutes later than normal.  You really won’t know until you try.  I will say, I prefer seeing the temp drop before AF to seeing a stark white BFN.  I try to wait to test until my temp has been up longer than it should be and I’m not spotting.  I’m not a member of the vagine-er club so I’m no help, but I’m sure others here could give some input there!

ETA: Also, re: when to start temping, you can start now if you want to get the hang of it or wait a few days.  I usually start around day 5 or 6 when AF is cleared out.  Just in case I O early, then I still have enough pre-O temps to show a pattern.

@hardtoconcentrate:  Thanks for the info. I should just bite the bullet and try it. I would rather do it by mouth, but I have really bad allergies and can’t breath well. So I assume it would mess my temps up. The vagine-er clubers will need to give me some tips…..

@hardtoconcentrate:  Hey girl! You asked earlier about how to introduce maca root to your husband? With mine I basically just said “ya know I heard about this herb that helps give men a little more oomph in bed. It wouldn’t hurt to try it. Helps with energy too.” He agreed it was worth giving it a shot. Give him time and slowly, but surely he’ll get his confidence back.

@skipper2010:  Thanks!  That’s a good idea.  I think I’m going to try to add some maca root into the routine next month.  I just have to do it carefully.  By The Way congratulations!!  You’ve gotta post pics of your pee stick for us!  😉

@Blondee:  Ugh, ask me any other day but today! Normally I feel pretty good (except for being insanely tired all.the.time) but all of a sudden, right before I hit 11 weeks I’m starting to get really nauseous and sick 🙁 I thought I had escaped it being that the first tri is pretty much done.

@MrsEagleEye:  What time of day did you do yours? and what day did you start? Thanks for posting that gives me an good idea what to look for.

OPK question for you ladies? What time of day? I have heard morning, afternoon, that you can miss it entirely so some do it two times a day…..I am confused as to when I should do them? What time of day that is.

@LuluH:  I think you’re supposed to do it according to the package instructions.  Most say don’t use FMU but my first pack was from CVS and it actually called for FMU. Wondfos tell you not to use FMU, though.  I tested with FMU around 8am and then again around 6pm.  When the lines were getting darker, I’d sometimes test a 3rd time in the middle of the day.

@Blondee:  Congrats to you!  Wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy!!

On a side note, AF due today… no sign of her whatsoever.  POAS at 4 a.m. today with BFN.  Keeping fingers crossed for some good news in the days to come.

Question ladies..
How long do you stay lying down after BD’ing??? Is anyone worried about peeing afterwards??? I tried to hold it for a half hour but then had to go…I figure if they were going to go anywhere they would have by then??

@LuluH:  I do OPKs when I get home from work, so once I day at about 5pm. I have a three day surge, so it’s easy to catch. Mine look about like MrsEagleEye’s, faint on most days and that dark on my surge days. I get almost positives for a couple days after my positives as well.
