Ooh there’s a November board already! πŸ™‚

Good luck to you ladies! Hopefully November is as productive a month as Oct & Sept seemed to be. πŸ™‚ *cheerleads from the sidelines*

@CuriousOne:  From a vagine-er birth? You’d totally be ready for September! Just no strenuous exercise, I do believe! I stalked your chart this morning – I think we both O-d yesterday! WOOT!

UGH! These OPKs are KILLING me this month! I tested yesterday morning and it was pretty dark, and then this morning, way lighter.  and it is SO hard for me to drink less water/hold it in the afternoon…I had really anticipated a positive today/tomorrow…now  I am just stressed I missed it, which would seriously bum me out…oh and poas at work is just a bit weird anyways…haha!

@MissKabers:  I know exactly how you feel about the OPKs! I thought I was suppose to O today but the OPK said Saturday… but if you get a positive OPK, does that mean you will ovulate in the next 24-48 hours? Oh, goodness… I think I am confused!

@MissKabers:  I know EXACTLY how you feel. This is my first time using OPKs and they are seriously stressing me out. I may go back to just temping. Yesterday I had to hold it for 4 hours because I needed to test again, and I was paranoid the whole time that I was going to give myself a UTI because it hurt so bad to hold it. I vowed not to do that again. Luckily the brand I use (CVS) is one of the few that calls for FMU.

I love that this thread is 2 pages long and it’s not even November yet. How do we ever find time to BD with all this WB-ing??

@Wed2Attn:  the increased sex drive after coming off BC was the best part! For the first few weeks DH was exhausted. Lol. I’ve learned to control myself a little since then. I’ve also noticed a HUGE change in my mood. On BC I was verrryy emotional and sensitive. Sometimes the littlest thing DH said or did would send me into a major freak out. It’s nice to feel sane again πŸ™‚

@MrsMoksha:  Have you broken out since going off BCP? My skin seems to have gone crazy, and I keep getting pimples on my neck, right under my ears. Random, right??

this is a busy thread already! also on the 1 year + TTC board – but REALLY hoping november is our month!

Current Cycle Day: CD9

Ovulation Date:  Going in for my midcycle u/s tomorrow morning.. also have my hsg tomorrow afternoon… if i have mature follies tmr AM, i will force O tomorrow night with the hcg trigger shot. potentially october 24-26th’ ish if alls well.

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length:  since were using the help from our ivf clinic this cycle, hoping to begin the tww oct 26thish.. thinking POAS will be november 6-7thish.

Cycles trying:  we’ve been officially TTC for 17 months. but this is our 1st cycle trying with the added help of letrozole, ultrasounds, estrogen, hsg, hcg, progesterone etc. been on metformin since feb ’12.

BD timing:  doctors said the night of the hcg injection, and again 36-40 hours after. so wednesday night and friday. assuming that i have some mature follies tomorrow morning at the ultrasound. hoping so!!!

Link to Chart: ive tried using FF, but i just dont understand. and my body is beyond whacko.

Favorite Thanksgiving Food:  mashed potatoes for the win!

hoping we get some BFPs this november!

@MrsJuneBee:  I would LOVE to share my recipe! But I’m telling you, you’ll want to eat the entire thing, girlfriend!

Ingredients:

  • 2 bags of Oceanspray fresh cranberries
  • 4 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (I am NOT a nuts person, but they totally work in this recipe!)
  • 24 ozs frozen whipped topping (thawed)
  • 12 ozs small marshmallows

Directions:

  • Grind the cranberries up in your food processor to a fine consistency.

  • Mix all the ingredients together.

  • Let set in the refrigerator so the flavors marry for approximately 2-4 hours.
(This is a dish that needs to be refrigerated, so don’t leave it setting out.)

ENJOY! This tasty concoction LOOKS as good as it tastes–it’s a lovely shade of pink! I always serve it in a fun crystal bowl!

@Sbee82:  It really depends on when you catch the LH surge! If you catch it going up, then yes you should ovulate soon but if you catch it going down….then you ahve already O’d. Some bee’s know if they get a positive OPK that they will be ovulating or already have. The only way to confirm is with a temp shift.

You can still get a positive OPK but not O, your body gears itself up but for whatever reason doesn’t release an egg.
