Hello. I am getting married on 11/11 and I need some help with colors. Im loving blue as a color (dark teal, navy ect) but I’m stuck on other colors. I keep seeing teal and burnt orange which looks nice for fall, but not sure if i want the official second color as burnt orange.
We are having a small, humble family and close friends only wedding. The reception is in the church community room so it doesn’t have to be extravagant colors, i just want pretty colors for flowers and centerpiece ect.

Orange florals are beautiful, and would be a nice bold accent color. Personally, I am not a fan of the color being overly done, but the right amount would give you a nice color pop.
If you are taking other suggestions, deep purple or mustard might also go well with navy.

Below are my October colors. Fall colors are tricky, imo. I spent a lot of time vexing about them. Easy, “safe” pastels were out – too summery. I am not a huge fan of the traditional fall colors – bright reds, oranges, yellows. Reminds of Mcdonalds if done wrong; I HAVE seen them done very well but they are tricky to work with and I am very much an amature where color theory is concerned. The other thing I was worried about was going too dark. Deep moody bouquets are gorgeous but once again if not done well can look dated (90s) or worse, grim and gruesome.
My original pallette was dark muted blue, forest green, charcoal, cream, walnut brown. I added in a dusty muted purple color because I wanted some depth with my florals rather than just green and cream. I should mention that there are metallic accents, too – both gold and silver.
Teal and burnt orange can be GORGEOUS when done well. I just wouldn’t have the guts. Try to cool off the colors with a color like grey or navy.
