Ceremony (where, time): Spoon Bay- Forresters Beach NSW Australia, 4:30

Reception (where, time): A Cocktail Lounge in Terrigal from 6pm

Dress Style: TBA- Jasmine’s Bridal

Hair/Makeup (Pro/DYI): Both Pro. Even though I am a trained MUA myself and one of my bridesmaids a hairdresser, I would rather u all be able to relax on the day. I have 2 amazing artists who will be working on us πŸ™‚

Honeymoon Location: Surprise from fiancé!

Flowers: Not sure, possibly cherry blossoms

Processional Song: TBA

First Dance Song: TBA

Centerpieces: NA As with e reception is set up in a cocktail lounge

Food/Menu: Spanish Tapas and Signature Cocktails

Cake Flavour: Vanilla with Dulce Leche filling

Favours: TBA- Hoping to find something unusual on a trip to Vietnam in August

DJ/Band/Ipod: Acoustic set until 9pm then DJ set

Oh sure, I’ll take part!! Wow, lots of Nov. 9th brides! Woo! I just realized we are SO close to being at the 6 month mark! EEEK! There are a lot of things on this list I haven’t even done yet!

Wedding Date: November 9, 2013

Engagement Length:  Just over one year

Colors: Ivory, gold, champagne and black

Theme: Vintage Glamour. Think crystals and big centerpieces and satin and lace!

Wedding Party(#s): 1 Maid/Matron of Honor, 3 bridesmaids’s, 4 GM’s. (Fiance can’t choose a Best Man!)

Ceremony (where, time): Old United church right downtown. Huge organ pipes, stain glass windows…beautiful – 1 pm. 

Reception (where, time): Italian banquet hall (food is sooo yummy!) Cocktails at 5 pm, dinner at 6 pm.

Dress Style: Sottero and Midgley, Hartley

Hair/Makeup (Pro/DYI): PRO. I am not depending on myself to pull off my wedding day look! Lol. 

Honeymoon Location: Still deciding! Hopefully Honolulu πŸ™‚

Flowers: Hydrangas, ivory roses, cali lillies

Processional Song: Don’t know yet!

First Dance Song: Still deciding, but something classic…Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet, Dean Martin….maybe The Way You Look Tonight

Centerpieces: 3 feet tall black iron candelabras. Enhancing them with crystal beads and adding a floral piece at the top.

Food/Menu: Amazing italian style buffet, still haven’t decided exact options.

Cake Flavour: Ummm cupcakes? That’s as far as we’ve gotten!

Favours: Thinking little vintage mint tins…

Photography/Videography: Photographer, still deciding if we need a videographer or not!

Bachelorette (when/what):  Will be in August, do not know any of the details since its up to my bridal party! πŸ™‚

Theme: No theme!

Wedding Party(#s): 1 Maid/Matron of Honor and 3 bridesmaids.  I dont’ know about Fiance he has so many guys he wants to be in the wedding party!

Ceremony (where, time): Beautiful boutique hotel in Old Town Alexandria, right outside of Washington, DC, 1pm.

Reception (where, time): Same place, immediately following the ceremony.

Dress Style: Alberta Feretti silk sheath dress

Hair/Makeup (Pro/DYI): Pro for the hair but DIY for the makeup. I’m planning to go to the Bobbi Brown counter at Nordstroms to buy products and get a tutorial.

Honeymoon Location: Orlando, Florida followed by a cruise to the Bahamas! 

Flowers: A mix of real flowers and dried lavender.

Processional Song:Still deciding.  I love reading all of your processinal songs for ideas!

First Dance Song: I’d like it to be Broken Road by Rascal Flatts but I don’t know if Fiance will go for that.  He wants something by Frank Sinatra.

Centerpieces: Something simple I can DIY.

Food/Menu: Sit down lunch catered by an amazing restaurant connected to our hotel venue.  Soup and salad for the first course and a choice of trout, roasted chicken or vegetable napoleon for the main.  We’ll have 3 passed hors devours (I know I spelled that wrong!) for the cocktail hour.  I’m thinking crab cakes, chicken satay and bruschetta.

Cake Flavor: Carrot cake and cheesecake!  We’re just using the desserts that come wiht our meal package and getting a small cake to cut.

Favors: None.

DJ/Band/Ipod: DJ, hopefully.  I haven’t booked this yet. 

Photography/Videography:Just photography, no video.

Bachelorette (when/what):  Not sure!  I’d really like to go to a nice dinner and a concert!

Engagement Length:  19 months

Colors: Mostly white with royal blue, silver and black accents

Theme: Simple elegance

Wedding Party(#s): 1 best man (FI’s brother) ! Maid/Matron of Honor (my sister)

Ceremony (where, time): The same chuch my parents got married in! 2:30 pm

Reception (where, time): a gorgeous 100 year old railroad hotel where FI’s parents got married. We’re not 100% sure on the time yet.

Dress Style: Marina Liani Style 378

Hair/Makeup (Pro/DYI): Pro. My usual salon for my hair, Sephora for my makeup

Honeymoon Location: We’re doing a mini-moon, probably at the hotel where we’re having our reception, or we’ll fly somewhere else in Canada (Montreal, Vancouver, maybe head to Banff) for a few days. Then in January or February we’ll go on a 1-2 week all inclusive.

Flowers: Real, mostly white.

Processional Song: Bridal March – Jonathan Cain’s version

First Dance Song: We haven’t 100% decided but probably “Just the way you look tonight” by Frank Sinatra.

Centerpieces: Small simple rounded arrangements with garden roses, hydrangeas, and anemones if we can get them (our florist says she can’t but I’m going to ask again because all the other florists we visited said they probably could). If not, we might add a couple blue orchids in.

Food/Menu: Haven’t decided yet. Probably prime rib.

Bachelorette (when/what):  No clue. Probably a girls shopping weekend in Minneapolis.

Theme: No set theme really but I want the romantic red and black look. I will have some black and white damask things but the theme is more of the colors

Wedding Party(#s): Matron of honor and 3 bridesmaids, flower girl. 1 best man and 3 groomsmen and our son will be the ring bearer. 

Ceremony (where, time): Mountain Preseeve Reception Center in Phoenix, AZ at 4. 

Reception (where, time): Same place

Dress Style: Maggie Sottero Allison 

Hair/Makeup (Pro/DYI): Pro

Honeymoon Location: not sure yet. We are thinking Jamaica though

Flowers: The bouquets will be real but reception decor will be silk DIY!

Cake Flavour: We are doing three cake flavors. Chocolate chip cheesecake, peanut butter chocolate and vanilla cream. the place we chose is the best cake I’ve ever had in my entire life. 

Favours: Coozies and a photobooth so the photostrip will be their favor as well

Bachelorette (when/what):  i don’t know when but we are going to Vegas!

Wedding Date: 8th November, 2013

Engagement Length: Just over 12 months 

Colours: Red, Orange, yellow, pops of green

Theme: Going more with a romantic feel, with autumn hues except having seen a lot of autumn colours looking a bit dull I am making it brighter with pops of yellow and green in there.  Using lots of candles and making it warm. 

Wedding Party (#s): Chief bridesmaid, 5 bridesmaids, best man, 2 groomsmen. 

Ceremony (where/time): St Mary’s church, in a little village in Norfolk, UK 12.30pm. 

Reception (where/time): Sprowston Manor, still need to finalise times

Dress Style: Sottero and Midgley JSM1235 slim line sheath dress with lace overlay and huge train! 

Hair/Makeup (Pro/DIY): Pro if I get hold of the hair stylist! And Pro makeup

Honeymoon Location: Saint Lucia 

Flowers: All real, red roses, yellow roses with the orange tint around the edge, and I haven’t decided on the rest yet but will include some pop of green in there somewhere

Processional Song: having the choral choir sing me down the aisle to Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring

First Dance Song: Songbird by Eva Cassidy

Centerpieces : Very tall with big burst of flowers and maybe some wrapping around the vase, candles around bottom on mirrors. Top table will have smaller arrangements but yet to be all finalised. 

Food/Menu: During welcome drinks (cocktail hour) we will serve mulled wine or warm pimms along with canapés. Will be a sit down meal with starter, main, dessert, coffee and chocolates. All to be decided at a tasting which will be in August. Thinking of having a meat and vegetarian choice only. 

Cake Flavour: We are having four tiers, the top being gluten free only and will be chocolate. Thave we have black Forrest, lemon and carrot cake. Yum! 

Favours: A little quirky in that they represent our first date so little box of chocolate coated coffee beans with a little fondant Minion inside (from despicable me) making them all with help lol but hope it will be fun and people will think it is cute might have an explanation on the table with what it means. 

DJ/Band/iPod: Band who also do a DJ service during there sets. 

Photography/Videography: Have an award winning photographer (amazing) and now looking at having a videographer also. 

Bachelorette (When/what): We call it a Hen do but I am not having one, so much is going on and it is the last thing on my mind. 

DIY: Invitations, place cards, order of service, seating plan, decor for some of the church, designing card box, making up own photo booth style guest book and table and the favours. Think that is it.

Colours: Dark navy blue, cream and possibly an brighter accent color (but haven’t thought of one yet)

Theme: Going for a rustic theme.

Wedding Party (#s): Matron of honor, 3 bridesmaids, Best man, 3 groomsmen. 1 flower girl, 1 ring bearer and 2 ushers.

Ceremony (where/time): Same church my parents were married in 28 years ago! Wedding time is at 5:00 pm

Reception (where/time): Reception will be held in the city community building in the same town as the wedding.

Dress Style: Galina Signature Beaded Tiered Tulle Gown with Sweetheart Neckline

Hair/Makeup (Pro/DIY): Pro if I get hold of the hair stylist! And Pro makeup

Honeymoon Location: Nassau, Bahamas

Flowers: Bridesmaids will have baby’s breath bouquets. Groomsmen will have baby’s breath boutonnieres. I will have a bouquet with a mixture of hen and chicks, roses, hydrangeas, and some other flowers.

Processional Song: Have not decided on this yet.

First Dance Song: We are thinking between “What a Wonderful World” Louis Armstrong or “Rose of My Heart” Johnny Cash.

Centerpieces : Table centerpieces will be a different on every table. Some will have small wood slices with mason jars and candles. Some will have bottles with twine wrapped around them and taller wood chunks with a hole drilled in them to hold a tea light. Each table will have a burlap and lace table runner. 

Food/Menu: My fiance and I love pulled BBQ pork. So we are having pulled BBQ pork sandwiches, baked beans, cheesy potatoes, green beans, cole slaw & rolls. Beer and wine will also be served.

Cake Flavour: We will have a 3 tiered cake and then sheet cakes to serve after then 3 tiered cake is done. The 3 tiered cake will be vanilla, chocolate and red velvet. The sheets will be one vanilla, one chocolate.

Favours: We really won’t be having any favors. We will provide glow sticks for the kids to play and dance around with during the reception. 

DJ/Band/iPod: We are having a DJ.

Photography/Videography: A photographer, not hiring a videographer. However, my brother will probably record the ceremony for me. 

Bachelorette (When/what): I am having a bachelorette party! It’s actually this Friday. We are going to a place called the Thirsty Pallete to drink and paint, then a surpise that I don’t know about yet, then afterwards some more drinking.

DIY: I am pretty much doing everything myself. Invitations, centerpieces, flower girl dress, decorations for the church and the reception hall.

Flowers: Silk rose petals for aisle, babys breath for main centerpieces and all other flower decor will be diy fabric or paper, including my brooch bouquet!

First Dance Song: “Nothings going to stop us now” Starship and intermittent with Gangnam Style by PSY!!

Centerpieces: Tall glass vases with babys breath surrounded by milk glass vases with paper flowers and tealights in votives.

Food/Menu: We will have a buffet type: half cuban and half nica food!

Cake Flavour: Im thinking of doing it strawberry swirl. and have cupcakes with the regular vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet flavors

Favours: vintage music paper wrapped poppers from our childhood for the children, we will be having a candy station and photo booth also!
