We used Air on a G string. One of my favorites, and our flutist was extremely familiar with it. I was tired of hearing Canon and Jesu. That stems largely from undergrad, though, being a wedding musician and constantly being asked to play the same thing.

Bach has long been my favorite composer, so I love Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring. THat being said, Cannon is also beautiful.

Rose214: How about Monteverdi’s Pur Ti Miro as performed by Joshua Bell? It’s a love duet from The Coronation of Poppea, but this is an instrumental version.

Rose214: I absolutely LOVE Yiruma’s River Flows in You — it makes me tear up just listening to it. If I end up having a wedding, definitely going with that one.
